How To Defeat Emperor Nefarious in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
As mentioned, the fight is fairly similar to your first fight earlier in the game with a few new additions. For starters, he now will use melee attacks to damage Ratchet. Players will need to dodge this attack, not jump or run away. Wait until he winds up and get the timing down to dodge. He will also use his purple beam which players can easily attack by jumping over it.
To keep things interesting, Emperor Nefarious will rip a hole in reality and send projectiles to the player. Players will know when this move is coming since he opens up a rift above him beforehand. Continue to keep moving and dodge them when they appear. After enough damage, Emperor Nefarious will send his goons to attack, and now it's time for Mr. Fungi to shine. Work together to clear them out and Nefarious will return to the battle. From here on out, the player will just need to repeat this process until Emperor Nefarious is defeated. This is the final boss of the game but players can always return and complete any trophies or objectives they are missing.
