Warning! Potential spoilers for the upcoming Shadow War crossover event by DC Comics

In the upcoming Shadow War crossover event, Deathstroke is about to become one of the most wanted villains in the DC Universe. On Thursday, DC Comics revealed a three-month crossover in the pages of Deathstroke Inc., Batman, and Robin spearheaded by Joshua Williamson. The event will feature Slade Wilson being hunted down after he does something "unthinkable." He will get on the radar of both the League of Shadows and Batman and Robin.

Deathstroke is currently working alongside T.R.U.S.T. in the pages of Deathstroke Inc., who have hired the mercenary and loaded him up with Batman's tech to take down villains. However, the organization isn't exactly living up to its name, as Black Canary recently discovered they are connected to the villain Libra and are fighting to balance the Multiverse. The event will feature the return of Damian Wayne from the Lazarus Tournament and a team-up with the Robin and his father, Batman.

DC's Shadow War crossover begins with Shadow War Alpha #1 by Williamson and Viktor Bogdanovic. Deathstroke's "unthinkable act" will make him target number one to Talia al Ghul and the League of Shadows. Meanwhile, Batman and Robin will try to bring the heroes to justice. The 48-page one-shot features covers from Jonboy Meyers, Bogdanovic, and Dan Mora.

Before the crossover begins, readers will get a tease of what's to come in Robin #12 by Williamson and Roger Cruz. The comic sees Damian Wayne return to Gotham City following the deadly events of the Lazarus Tournament. Robin #12 features covers from Bogdanovic, Francis Manapul, and a 1:25 variant from Crystal Kung.

The event will also be teased in Deathstroke Inc. #7 by Williamson and Stephen Segovia. The comic will see Slade's daughter Rose and the mysterious Respawn return from Lazarus Island and confront him. The issue features covers by Howard Porter, Ivan Tao, and a 1:25 variant from Acky Bright.

Both Robin #12 and Deathstroke Inc. #7 will arrive in comic book stores on March 22, 2022, and Shadow War Alpha #1 will be released a week later on March 29, 2022. The event will continue throughout Williamson's current ongoing series. The Shadow War picks up in April in Batman #122. Deathstroke Inc. #8, and Robin #13 before concluding in May with Batman #123. Additionally, Shadow War Zone #1, Deathstroke Inc. #9, and Robin #14 will conclude with another one-shot, Shadow War Omega #1. The action-packed event starring Deathstroke should be a lot of fun as plenty of secrets surrounding the character will be revealed.
