Aside from collecting unique weapons, solving puzzles, and indulging in several fun activities on the Isle of Blackreef, one fun aspect of the first-person shooter Deathloop is unlocking the various costumes. Although the outfits are purely cosmetic and offer no special powers, there are 27 different stylish costumes that can be unlocked for protagonists Colt Vahn and Julianna Blake to wear as they complete their missions.

Storm Rider - Colt

In Colt's only unlockable costume to feature a helmet, the "Storm Rider" getup gives the protagonist a cool extreme-sports video game vibe that makes him appear somewhere between an X-Games skateboarder and a dive-bombing fighter pilot. With the long, high-collared matching jacket with a built-in belt buckle to go with a smooth white turtle neck, Colt looks mighty stylish.

With brown leather gloves to match the ammo sash across his chest, the costume is fortified by the gun strap on the right leg and live rounds hooked to his right shoulder. With extra protection to keep his head from catching bullets, Storm Rider is where fashion meets function.

Match Point - Julianna

One of the easiest ways to throw off the scent of a heavily armed enemy is to dress in disguise. As such, Julianna's sleek periwinkle "Match Point" tennis dress is not only one of her most unique costumes, but it also makes her enemies think she's someone else entirely. Accentuated by a stunning orange broach that matches the lining of her tennis shoes, the minimal outfit is also one of Julianna's most feminine.

The fingerless white velcro gloves match her dangling earrings, rounding out a simple yet staggering ensemble. Compared to the rest, this is one of the most playful Julianna wears in the game.

Love Machine - Colt

However inconspicuous it may be, there's no denying the brazenly ostentatious nature of Colt's "Love Machine," a neon metallic pink suit that makes him look like a huggable teddy bear. The outfit is so outrageous it could almost certainly distract Colt's enemies long enough for him to strike first or evade danger altogether.

Marked by a pink pocket square, sexy white turtle neck, and matching white sunglasses, the Love Machine not only stands out on its own but does so even more when compared to Colt's shirtless attire and more repetitive tactical gear.

Deja Funk - Julianna

Between the two-toned orange and turquoise sleeveless top, the tight high-waist gray pants studded with four buttons on each hip, and the matching gray headband and orange earrings, the costume is a fun throwback look that channels a cool fashion sense of the 60s and 70s.

Predator - Colt

In one of the few costumes that do not rely on physical clothing or trendy fashion, Colt's "Predator" disguise is a unique low-tech and extremely tactile way of remaining hidden from his enemies. Inspired by the classic and extremely durable film Predator, Colt smears his bald head, face, and torso in black and grey streaks of clay and mud in a manner that makes him look like a primordial savage.

Beyond the sheer ingenuity and uniqueness of the costume when compared to his others, the Predator costume is easily the most terrifying in Colt's wardrobe, allowing him to physically frighten his foes before a shot is even fired.

Pampelmiss - Julianna

While the Shine On and Black Matte costumes adhere to a similar style of tight-fitting bodysuit known as "Pamplemiss," the stunning Fuschia variation Julianna sports in Deathloop is the most memorable. What really makes the outfit stand out is the shiny pink silken necktie.

Studded by a kickass brown and gold ammunition belt adorned with handcuffs, bullets around her back, gun holsters, and places to keep extra explosives, the killer costume is made complete with the matching brown high-heeled boots that are both rugged and sophisticated at once.

Blue Note - Colt

While it shares a similar cut to the Undercover suit, Colt's rakish "Blue Note" ensemble is one of the most attractive looks in the superb first-person shooter game. A bit of a misnomer, the ravishing aquamarine three-piece suit comes with a Brown Indiana Jones-like fedora that perfectly matches Colt's pocket square. Note how the shiny gold tie perfectly reflects the band of the fedora.

The Blue Note costume gives off a 1930s gangster vibe that aligns well with Colt's murderous M.O., making for a threatening but sophisticated appearance that no enemy would want to test.

Checkmate - Julianna

Easily one of the most head-turning and jaw-dropping costumes of all, Julianna's ravishing "Checkmate" outfit combines the sexy-sleek body-fitting leather of the Pampelmiss with a zany black and white checkerboard pattern that screams "The Queen is here!" As its title denotes, Julianna is wisest to wear the outfit when she has her opponent dead to rights with no chance of escape.
