Marvel just introduced a brand new character named Deathpool, the daughter of Deadpool and the living embodiment of Death. Set to appear in the mobile game Marvel Strike Force, Deathpool's existence caused waves in her own reality. Her creation not only erased her mother in the name of cosmic balance but led to Thanos hunting down and killing Deadpool - leading Deathpool to track and take down the Mad Titan for good.

In Marvel Comics' main continuity, Thanos wants nothing more than the love of Death. However, the cosmic being has no interest in the Eternal despite many attempts to woo her by killing in her name. But, Death did take a liking to Deadpool, as the pair shared a surprising romance that angered the Mad Titan to no end. Thanos has watched as Deadpool has gained Death's affection, as she has overlooked him on multiple occasions to be closer to Wade Wilson. Marvel's most bizarre love triangle (well, non-reciprocated in Thanos' case) just got a new layer, as the Marvel Strike Force reality introduced Death and Deadpool's daughter.

This week, Marvel Strike Force announced the arrival of Deathpool, the offspring of Death and Deadpool. Deathpool represents the ultimate What If...? as the living embodiment of Death would usually not be able to create life. But, in Deathpool's case, she is the essence of her mother, and replaced her after being born, causing her mom to vanish. Raised by Deadpool, Deathpool is both quippy, and a deadly fighter - as the Marvel Strike Force reveal refers to her as the Mortem with a Mouth. However, when Thanos found out about Deathpool, he used the Infinity Stones to erase Deadpool.

Not only did Thanos snap Deadpool out of existence, but he made it his personal mission to kill every version of the antihero across the multiverse. As a result, Deathpool's Marvel Strike Force journey will focus on her chasing the Mad Titan across space and time before arriving on the Nexus Earth. Deathpool's mix of her father and mother's look makes for quite the costume, as she keeps her mother's hood but has an outfit based on Deadpool with Death's color scheme. Deathpool even has a Deadpool logo on her belt and carries a huge scythe as the new arbiter of Death.

Marvel hasn't revealed when Deathpool will arrive in Marvel Strike Force but mentioned an upcoming blog would break down the character's stats and abilities soon. Deathpool is an intriguing new character who is a perfect What If...? creation. In normal circumstances, her existence wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. But, somewhere in the multiverse, Death and Deadpool's child has been born and is after Thanos for revenge. We can't wait to see her in action.
