Some new audition tapes for a role in Deadpool 2 has recently emerged pointing to the possibility of new mutants joining the Ryan Reynolds sequel. So far, the production has already announced two new members of the cast in Josh Brolin, who will play Nathan Summers also known as Cable, as well as, Zazie Beets as Domino. Aside from the aforementioned ones, other actors from the first Deadpool film are set to reprise their previous roles like Weasel (T.J. Miller), Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Blind Al (Leslie Uggams) and driver Dopinder (Karan Soni).

Principal photography for the film is expected to start soon in Vancouver, Canada. But just before the film starts rolling, two actors' demo tapes have surfaced causing fans to play the guessing game as to which characters they might be playing in the Fox Marvel movie follow-up.

The audition tapes were spotted by Omega Underground and feature Irish actor Killian Scott and British actor Charley Palmer Rothwell both trying for the role of “Mike.“ The scenes they have picked to use for the try-out seem pretty intense. Scott's shot called for him to take on a long dialogue while in the middle of a conversation with another man:

"How much power we have, together. Our gifts are unique we’re made for each other. Okay, fire and the ultimate fuel. And the man with the silver arm is gonna come back here for you and when he does, we’ll have a chance to be free this f***ing steel. Okay? And if you take with you, I can protect you because I have control of the monster down below. He can protect the both of us, right? This is how I see it give us a bit of time to make things right. Cause, honestly, I’m not a good man. But I’m no lier, okay? I’m no lier. And I wanna show you that there can be real justice in this f***ing world. Real freedom, you’re not alone boy. See this? [possibly pointing to scars] I knew the man that raised you, maybe even better than you did. And you know we can make him pay for what he did to us. We make every single soul that hurt us buddy. Start by tell me your name."

Basing from the dialogue, it sounds like the unknown character is trying to reign control of the dire situation that he is currently in. Initial assumptions point out that the secret role could be Black Tom with recent reports floating around that the character is going to appear in Deadpool 2. The part, however, is supposedly attached to Jack Kesy.

There is also the possibility that the audition is for a new character altogether given nothing from the dialogue screams obvious for any other mutant rumored to join Deadpool 2. High-profile films are known to use dummy names, dummy dialogue and even a fake production titles to keep the film's secrecy somehow intact. Mike can be just a codename and the lines that Scott and Rothwell had to read could be nothing more than just random script put together for the sake of the audition process.

The first Deadpool movie is considered the biggest sleeper hit of 2016. It broke box office records and pushed boundaries in terms of the thriving superhero genre and it is not a surprise that its sequel is getting so much attention.
