Though Deadpool 2 won't be aimed at all ages, the new green band trailer attempts to clean up the film and recap the first movie while adding a new joke. With Deadpool 2 now coming sooner than ever, fans of the Merc with a Mouth don't have much longer to wait. The second Deadpool 2 trailer came just last week and finally added some plot insight to all the jokes and violence. Now we know Cable's mission will be to find a mutant child, which will put him at odds with Wade Wilson. And to stop the time traveler, Deadpool will assemble the X-Force ahead of the group's spinoff film.
We don't know how well the new creative team and expanded plot and cast will compare to the first film, but Deadpool 2 is testing well from what we've heard so far. That's good news, as the unique concept of the original movie could easily have been ruined if Fox tried to hard to intervene with the film. As it stands, it looks as if fans of the burgeoning franchise will get a worthy follow-up. And though it will be just as laden with dirty jokes as the first movie, the minds behind it are still trying to market it wider.

20th Century Fox has released a 'Green Band' trailer for Deadpool 2 that cleans up the language and violence a bit. There was a time when 'Red Band' trailers were a special bonus for R-Rated movies, but they've become more the norm. To make the trailer a little more interesting, it also recaps the first movie and adds a new joke. Now, the trailer ends with Wade's thoughts on the man-bun rather than Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
Aside from simply being a new gag, the swapped joke proves Deadpool 2 has lots of alternate material to choose from. The first film featured lots of improv and multiple takes, which led to a horde of deleted scenes and a great gag reel when the movie landed on home video. Unsurprisingly, it looks as if Deadpool 2 will also offer plenty of bonus footage when it lands on Blu-ray.
Though X-Men movies often suffer from being overcrowded, the expanded roster of Deadpool 2 will actually be a good thing for fans. X-Men: Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants have been pushed back, which marks the second move for the latter film. No one knows what the future holds should Disney acquire 2oth Century Fox, but things aren't looking great outside of Deadpool. At one point, that character was a risk and the X-Men were Fox's bread and butter. Now, things have been flipped and it's not clear what's going on behind the scenes of Dark Phoenix, The New Mutants, and Gambit. Thankfully though, Deadpool 2 is right around the corner.
