Domino actress Zazie Beetz says she would love for her Deadpool 2 character to star in a crossover movie with Margot Robbie as Suicide Squad baddie Harley Quinn. After bringing Domino to life in this year's hit sequel to Deadpool, Beetz will stick with the comic book thing by starring alongside Joaquin Phoenix in Warner Bros.' Joker. Fans recently got their first look at Beetz and Phoenix together in the upcoming movie.

Though Beetz is planning on adding a DC movie to her resume, the actress isn't done with Marvel quite yet, as she has been announced to return as Domino in Drew Goddard's upcoming X-Force movie. Of course, with Disney and Fox merging, there's also the chance Domino, Deadpool and the X-Force crew could join the MCU proper. As Beetz recently revealed, even before she landed the role of Domino, she tried making her way into the Marvel realm by auditioning to play Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Clearly, Beetz enjoys being a part of superhero and/or comic book movies. As the actress revealed during her recent appearance at ACE Comic Con, there's one superhero flick in particular she would love to be a part of. Beetz says her dream team-up would see Domino and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn star together in a crossover movie (via ComicBook.com). “I just thought Harley Quinn, but she’s not Marvel,” Beetz told the crowd. “But I feel like that could be such a fun combination.”

Perhaps in some future world where Disney has bought out Warner Bros. and DC, the Harley Quinn/Domino combo could happen. But for now, such a film remains firmly in the realm of fantasy. Given the element of chaotic fun Robbie brought to her portrayal of Quinn in Suicide Squad, it's easy to see why Beetz would dream of sharing the screen with the actress. Of course, with Beetz herself set to star in Joker, she's already taking a step toward the DCEU. It's hard to see that far into the future, but maybe somewhere down the road Beetz will get her wish to team up with Margot Robbie's Quinn.

In addition to citing Harley Quinn as someone she would love to meet on-screen, Beetz also mentioned Iron Man as an actual MCU character she would enjoy crossing over with. “I just think it’d be fun to do a movie with [Robert Downey Jr]. I feel like a Deadpool-Iron Man thing could be fun," she said. Indeed, Deadpool and Iron Man do share certain things in common, including a certain snarky sense of humor. However, it seems highly likely that Robert Downey Jr. will be finished playing Tony Stark after Avengers 4, so the chances of him ever starring in an Iron Man/Deadpool crossover are slim at best. Unfortunately for Beetz, she seems to be aiming just a little too high and wide in her efforts at whipping up a fun crossover vehicle for her Deadpool 2 character.
