A new photo from the set of Deadpool 2 sees Cable doing some major gun shopping. Played by Josh Brolin, the time-traveling mutant is set to make his big screen debut in the Deadpool sequel, which will see the return of Ryan Reynolds' no-filter, fourth wall-breaking superhero. The pair's dynamics in the pages of the comic books are somewhat complex and people are already looking forward to what Deadpool and Cable's relationship will be like onscreen, because of that.

Not much is known regarding the specifics of the narrative of Deadpool 2, though it has long been confirmed that Zazie Beets is also joining the Deadpool universe in the film as the character Domino - a skilled mercenary, who has also been the partner, confidante, and love interest of Cable in the comic books. The character also has a long and storied relationship with Deadpool, making the trio's relationship somewhat convoluted on the whole. Nevertheless, her upcoming entrance into the Fox Marvel Movie Universe is another big step towards the planned X-Force film.

Brolin was spotted donning his full Cable outfit while filming in Vancouver's Army & Navy store by a local photographer that goes by the name YVRShoots, who, in turn, posted the snap on their official Twitter page. In it, we see the bulked-up actor pushing a normal grocery cart that is full of various weapons like automatic weapons and supplies of ammunition. Judging by the mutant's very alert stance, it also appears that the cyberhero superhero is trying to move quickly but discreetly as well. You can check out the photo below:

Although it is quite difficult to predict just what is happening in the scene, Cable could possibly be stocking up on weapons in preparation for a massive upcoming battle. Against who, however, remains to be seen. An additional photo from the same location has also spotted a Mutant Response Division squad car, which may hint that the organization is trying to pin down the superhero. To the uninitiated, the group's main goal is to hunt down and capture roaming mutants to use them for their own personal reasons. It is uncertain at what capacity are they involved in Deadpool 2, but some kind of a run-in with Cable in the film seems like a real possibility.

Fans will have to wait for awhile now to find out exactly what is happening in the photos, seeing as Deadpool 2 doesn't hit theaters until June of next year. Before then of course, Brolin will be wreaking havoc as the Man Titan himself, Thanos, in Marvel Studio's upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.
