In "Maybe I'm Crazy," Judy befriends Jen and the two create a friendship over losing their loved ones. But once Jen finds out that Judy's "dead" fiance is actually alive, Jen gives Steve her business card in an attempt to help him sell his house. Jen gets over Judy's lie and asks her to move into her guest house while she gets on her feet. Meanwhile, Jen is still on the hunt for the car that ran over her husband. It's in this episode that Jen also realizes how dark of a place Judy must be in after seeing the nursery she and Steve had in their home.

I've Gotta Get Away (Episode 5) - 8.1

"I've Gotta Get Away" is the fifth episode in the series. Now that Jen and Judy are becoming best pals, the two join their grief group's retreat in Palm Springs for some time away. But the retreat isn't just for their grief group; it's for other groups in the area as well.

Both Jen and Judy fall for two fellow grievers on the trip and try to have a nice time for a change. Jen's night doesn't work out too well but Judy finds Nick, a police officer, and becomes obsessed with his life and career.

I Can Handle It (Episode 7) - 8.1

In "I Can Handle It," Judy freaks out when Jen finds a piece of the car that killed Ted. Judy runs to Steve's office where she panics about getting rid of the car. Steve is calm, cool and collected and tells her he's been slowly decomposing the car so that it's out of their hair. Judy decides to do the work herself and the two head to the car's hiding spot to break it apart together. They end up spending the entire day together and sleep with each other, even though Judy was in a new relationship with Nick. Her absence throughout the day startles Jen, leaving her concerned and suspicious of Judy's whereabouts.

Pilot (Episode 1) - 8.1

Jen And Judy, Grief group

The pilot episode is where everything began. Viewers learn that Jen is heartbroken and mystified by her husband's sudden death and is trying to get back on her feet. She joins a grief support group to help with her anger but it doesn't seem to help.

It's there that she meets a fellow griever named Judy who actually enjoys Jen's cynicism. Throughout the episode, Judy seems a little naive but by the end, it becomes quite clear that she's not as innocent as she acts...

Try To Stop Me (Episode 8) - 8.2

Jen, Dead To Me

In "Try To Stop Me," Jen, Judy, and Nick discover the type of car that killed ted. With a printed list in hand, the three visit the addresses of those who own the same kind of car as the driver. When Judy looks at the list, she sees Steve's art gallery, which would be a dead giveaway. She immediately gets nauseous, which leads to her thinking she's pregnant. With a baby on the brain for Judy, Jen continues the hunt for Ted's murderer and gets herself into a sticky situation.

Oh My God (Episode 6) - 8.2

Luke at school, Dead To Me

"Oh My God" was given an 8.2 ranking and focused on Jen's two sons. With Jen being consumed with work and trying to find out who killed her husband, she hasn't always been the most attentive mother. Her youngest is in the choir but acts out when things don't go his way and her eldest gets in trouble at school for dealing drugs. Meanwhile, Judy gets closer to Nick and asks him questions about the hit-and-run case.

I Can't Go Back (Episode 4) - 8.3

In "I Can't Go Back," Jen is devastated when she learns her former husband was having an affair. The worst part is that she didn't find out until after he had passed away. Judy and Jen end up finding out who the woman is and approach her at the restaurant where she works as a waitress. This becomes too much for Jen, but Judy hangs back to break the news to Ted's mistress about the life he was keeping from her.

It's All My Fault (Episode 3) - 8.4

On Ted's 50th birthday, Jen holds a celebration of his life at her home with Judy's help. If it weren't for Judy's spiritual side, his birthday party wouldn't have happened. The celebration is important for Jen's kids and is a therapeutic moment for everyone. In this episode, viewers learn just how deep the hatred between Jen and her mother-in-law runs as they go head to head over Ted's life.

I Have To Be Honest (Episode 9) - 8.8

"I Have To Be Honest" shows Judy coming clean about Steve's secret life to the police. He's a popular businessman in the area but also a money-launderer and a fraud.

At the same time, Judy also tells Jen about what really happened to Ted, prompting Jen to kick her out. With nothing to lose, Judy takes all the money out of her shared account with Steve and writes a cashier's check to Jen — even though Jen wants her dead.

You Have To Go (Episode 10) - 8.8

"You Have To Go" scored an 8.8 by viewers and is also the season finale. It ends on a major cliffhanger with Steve's body floating in the pool and Judy close to dying in the same spot as Ted. This juicy episode raises plenty of questions are circling around Jen and Judy's future.

Season 2 of Dead to Me drops on Netflix on May 8th.
