After players defeat Death in the Defiled Necropolis arena past the Castle Outskirts and Dracula's Castle in Dead Cells' Return to Castlevania DLC, they will need to find the Clock Tower in order to enter the Castle again. The final biome seen in this DLC, the Master's Keep, may only be found once Dracula awakens in his Castle following the player's victory over Death. The son of the Vampire King, Alucard, can be found in the Clock Tower to guide players into Dracula's Castle once again, now a far more dangerous biome than before.

Unlike the Castle Outskirts biome that marks the start of Dead Cells' Return to Castlevania DLC, players cannot find the Clock Tower early on in their run. The desired area lies deep within the twisting halls and biomes players have become familiar with, with the only difference being Alucard's presence. Beating Death locks all progress within the DLC until players have started a new run, as finishing the first instance of Dracula's Castle simply gives an exit back into the standard biomes.

Finding the Clock Tower in Dead Cells' Return to Castlevania DLC

Dead Cells Return to Castlevania DLC Speaking to Alucard to Move On To Next Part of Dracula's Castle

Due to the progressive nature of biomes in Dead Cells, there are set paths players are able to use when trying to reach the Clock Tower. While the overall biome map gives players a myriad of options to explore, it is recommended that they start by going to the Promenade of the Condemned. This area represents the fastest path with plenty of weapons from Dead Cells' past update, as players can easily go to the Ramparts biome next, followed by the Black Bridge.

While players could easily go through Stilt Village after Black Bridge, they are recommended to travel to Slumbering Sanctuary instead due to the abundance of items there. The Clock Tower resides easily from either of these locations, but players will need to complete the biome before speaking to Alucard. In addition, players must go to the subsequent Clock Room biome and beat the Time Keeper boss that resides there.

Talking to Alucard once the Time Keeper has been dealt with leads players to the final stages of the DLC, which include both a Medusa mini-boss and Dracula as the final opponent.

Players have a special option within Dracula's Castle to also beat the biome in a different mode when unlocking Richter Belmont within Dead Cells. No matter how players try to finish the Return to Castlevania DLC in Dead Cells, the Clock Tower remains a necessary region to find that blocks access unless players get far enough in their run.
