Peacemaker is the All-American vigilante with expertise in all firearms known to man. Not only that, his very own show has given him cool new helmets that grant him special abilities to even the odds against metahumans. Peacemaker’s skills are unquestionable, but viewers wonder who he could beat in the DCEU.

DCEU is full of metahumans and skilled assassins alike who could give Peacemaker a run for his money. However, even metahumans and seasoned fighters have their weaknesses. Peacemaker may seem like a clumsy oaf at times but there’s no doubt he’s a stone-cold killer.

Captain Boomerang

Captain Boomerang crouching on the ground in Suicide Squad

Captain Boomerang is a seasoned criminal and was actually one of the more effective ranged members of Task Force X. His array of trick boomerangs ranging from the ultra-sharp to explosive means he’s an effective fighter in his own right. He’s also one of the most effective members of the decoy squad.

Still, Peacemaker would make short work of him with the much more efficient use of guns. In an up-close fight, Captain Boomerang wouldn’t last long either, being physically inferior to the beefy Peacemaker who can toss around fully grown men like half-empty sandbags. Sorry to say, but the loudmouth Aussie doesn’t hold a candle to a professional.

The Joker

Joker with a bat looking serious in Suicide Squad

The Joker is a force to be reckoned with in the criminal underworld thanks to his complete lunacy and steel grasp on Gotham. His presence is so feared that even seasoned criminals refuse to step onto his territory purely due to his reputation as a psychopath who will do anything to stay ahead.

However, he’s also just a normal (physically, at least) guy underneath all the makeup. As Peacemaker brags during his spat with his father’s neighbor shows, he wouldn’t even let the Joker get into his head. If anything, he’d just shoot Joker in the head. Judging by his lack of a rogues gallery, Peacemaker’s not fooling around.

Black Canary

Black Canary holding a bat in Birds of Prey

Black Canary is a physically capable fighter, being able to take on thugs much bigger than her with general ease. Of course, knowing how to throw a punch isn’t enough in a universe of supers isn’t enough, so she also has her iconic Canary Cry, capable of lifting dozens of men and knocking them out.

Unfortunately for Canary, Peacemaker has a lot more feats against stronger opponents like the Butterflies. Not to mention, Peacemaker’s sonic boom helmet is much stronger than the Canary Cry we see in Birds of Prey, reducing a physically enhanced Butterfly into ludicrous gibs.

Polka Dot Man

Polka-Dot Man in an auditorium in The Suicide Squad

In terms of pure destruction, Polka Dot Man is one of the most dangerous members that Task Force X has ever had. His intergalactic polka dots shred through pretty much all material with ease and hurt Starro the most out of any other character besides Ratcatcher II. Without a doubt,

Polka Dot Man is no joke.

However, he’s also a glass cannon. While his powers may be the most delightful-looking death dots anyone will ever see, they’re actually pretty easy to see coming. A fast enough fighter could just jump out of the way. Once that’s done, Polka Dot Man is still a man, and men die from regular old bullets, which Peacemaker has plenty of.

Rick Flagg

Rick Flag and Polka-Dot Man on the rooftop planning with Task Force X in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad

Rick Flagg is, by default, the most experienced Task Force X member. He has undergone the most missions out of any other member, oftentimes in active warzones infested with metahumans. This makes Rick Flagg one of the most competent soldiers in the DCEU.

Unfortunately, we know exactly how a fight between him and Peacemaker played out. Despite Peacemaker not wanting to murder him, Peacemaker still did so out of a misplaced sense of “duty.” In the end, he stabbed Flagg through the heart. However, Flagg’s final words would hurt Peacemaker’s almost as much. “Peacemaker. What a joke.”

Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn is one of the most lethal members of the Suicide Squad, and she doesn’t even have any fancy powers or gadgetry. All she has is an unorthodox fighting style and freaking the hell out of any opponents she encounters. Her ingenuity, speed, and surprising durability despite being a normal human are what make her a veteran of many Task Force X missions.

While it may be a hard fight, decided by several factors, Peacemaker has a chance of putting down the lady clown. His superior strength should help when the gap is closed while his much more refined gunplay should keep the crazy killer away. It’s just a matter of Peacemaker keeping his cool in the face of pure madness.

Bloodsport

Bloodsport in a crowd of Starro's puppets in The Suicide Squad

Bloodsport is a notorious mercenary, raised by an abusive soldier father who taught him that anything is a deadly weapon in his hands. Peacemaker is also a notorious vigilante, raised by an abusive soldier father who taught him that anything is a deadly weapon in his hands. However, Bloodsport does have the distinct accomplishment of putting Superman in the ICU with a kryptonite bullet.

While Bloodsport did win over Peacemaker in their standoff, it’s interesting to note that he won because of Peacemaker’s advice. Smaller bullets mean it goes through big bullets, hitting his target even better. Though evenly matched, Bloodsport was more prepared and much less injured in their duel. That said, if they were both at peak condition and fought, a rematch might not end in Bloodsport's favor thanks to Peacemaker's new gadgets.

Killer Croc

Killer Croc is the brawniest member of the first Task Force X that we see in the DCEU. His thick hide makes him more durable to hits, and his strength lets him throw fully grown men through cars a dozen feet away. Not to mention, he’s just plain intimidating, with his deep voice and monstrous appearance.

However, Peacemaker’s had enough experience fighting stronger creatures by now, such as the Butterflies, and we see no indication that Killer Croc is completely bulletproof. As long as Peacemaker doesn’t try to make it a brawl, there’s a lot of ways Peacemaker could turn Killer Croc into a pair of smoking leather boots (not that he would, that’s probably weird).

Deadshot

Deadshot with his mask off in Suicide Sqad

Deadshot is without a doubt the most skilled gunfighter in the DCEU. His gunplay is unmatched by anybody else, and he is considered lethal at a range of 4,000 meters. For context, that’s nearly a quarter-mile more than the longest confirmed sniper kill in real life. Not to mention, his gun gauntlets would make even CQC fights a breeze.

Without a doubt, this is going to be a tough match for Peacemaker. Peacemaker may win in pure physicals, but Deadshot’s gunplay is just too dangerous to risk getting close or staying far. However, Deadshot is still a man, and if Peacemaker uses his superior strength to close the gap and disable his guns, he could definitely beat the infamous mercenary.

El Diablo

El Diablo sits at a bar in Suicide Squad

El Diablo is the original Task Force X’s most powerful member by a wide margin. The destructive potential of his flames annihilates entire hordes of Enchantress’ minions, and in his “Diablo” form, he was standing toe to toe with a demigod. His literal firepower cannot be underestimated.

However, just like the rest of Task Force X, he has a collar that can kill him at any time, and Waller wouldn’t have even sent El Diablo out if she wasn’t sure that she couldn’t kill him. Not to mention, he dies to a regular old C4 charge, which for a gun nut like Peacemaker, he probably has plenty of. If Peacemaker plays his cards right, he could snuff out El Diablo’s fire.
