A new fan-made poster for the DCEU features three of the greatest members of the Justice League - Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman - standing together before an epic background. The big three most recently appeared together in 2017's Justice League, where they united to stop the threat posed by the villainous Steppenwolf and his army of parademons. Although reception to Justice League was mixed at best, it nevertheless helped contribute to a growing live action universe that DC continues to build upon.

DC has also been taking note of the importance of its fans in helping make this universe possible. The first-ever DC FanDome, a global virtual event free and open to DC fans everywhere, has been announced for August 22. Fans have been invited to submit their DC-related artwork, cosplay, paraphernalia, and more, and some of the stars and creative minds behind the DCEU are also set to make an appearance. Of particular note is Zack Snyder, who has recently confirmed he will be at FanDome to promote the upcoming release of his directorial cut of Justice League.

Some fans have already begun creating artwork in anticipation of the Snyder cut's release, one notable example being freelance artist Yadvender Singh Rana's epic poster of the DCEU's big three. The poster features personalized backgrounds for each character, including a dark atmosphere for Batman, a burning sun behind Superman, and metallic wings spreading out from behind Wonder Woman's Golden Eagle armor.

The poster reflects the considerable amount of hype there has been for the Snyder Cut, which is set to be officialy released on HBO Max in 2021 as Zack Snyder's Justice League. A movement of fans formed years ago to demand the rumored cut's release, despite news that it was deemed "unwatchable" during early test screenings. Fans of the DCEU will soon get the chance to decide for themselves whether Snyder's reportedly darker and more serious take on the world's greatest heroes holds more water than Joss Whedon's more lighthearted version of Justice League.

For now, the DCEU is kept alive with the aid of its fans, those who are willing to look past whatever flaws it has now towards what it promises for the future. Already, seven different new films featuring DC characters are slated to come out over the next two years, including Wonder Woman 1984The Suicide Squad, and The Batman. Although Justice League may not have ended up being what fans hoped for, and may still not be improved through following Snyder's original vision, the DCEU still has time to make good on what it promised in the beginning and give its fans the universe they have been waiting for.
