While some titles have already been revealed, such as the Lazarus Planet crossover from Mark Waid from Mahmud Asrar, Superman from Joshua Williamson and Jamal Campbell, and the Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent from Tom Taylor and Clayton Henry, the announcement features several comics that haven't been showcased, setting the stage for what's coming in the year 2023 for DC Comics.

DC's "Dawn of DC" initiative will begin with a line-wide, multi-event storyline that will start in Action Comics #1051. The new title coming next year include Superboy: Man of Tomorrow from Kenny Porter and Jahnoy Linsday, Unstoppable Doom Patrol by Dennis Culver and Chris Burnham, Green Lantern: Hal Jordan by Mario Tamaki, Green Lantern: John Stewart by Phillip Kennedy Johnson, a new Batman: The Brave and the Bold comic from Tom King, Mitch Gerads, Guillem March, Gabriel Hardman, Dan Mora, Rob Williams, and more creators, Green Arrow from Joshua Williamson and Sean Izaaske, Shazam from Mark Waid and Dan Mora, Penguin from Tom King and Stefano Guardiano, Action Comics from Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Dan Jurgens, and Leah Williams, and new Cyborg and Steel series from yet-to-be-revealed creative teams.

A New Dawn For The DC Universe

The "Dawn of DC" initiative shows that the publisher is thinking big picture with its new titles, as not only are there new comics from heroes like Superman, Hal Jordan's Green Lantern, and Batman, but it also features much-anticipated new series for Green Arrow, the Doom Patrol, and John Stewart as well.
