In a recent interview with Walter Hamada, it was confirmed that Matt Reeves' The Batman takes place on Earth-2. Meanwhile, the DC Extended Universe will continue on Earth-1; the likes of Henry Cavill's Superman and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman will be specifically for that world.

This news immediately makes one ponder if Robert Pattinson's Batman will only be the beginning. If Earth-2 will be successful enough to get its own version of Superman and Wonder Woman. So who could play the remaining members of the Trinity if Robert Pattinson ever meets them?

Superman: Matt Bomer

There's no denying that Matt Bomer is a great actor who fits the part. He even played Superman before in the animated film Superman Unbound; Bomer also auditioned for the role of Superman in Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel but lost to the great Henry Cavill. Currently, Matt Bomer portrays Larry Trainor AKA Negative Man on HBO Max's Doom Patrol.

This might be enough to say that Bomer couldn't play Superman. However, the new DC Multiverse has shown that the same actor can portray different characters across different universes. Brandon Routh was the Atom and Superman in the same scene during Crisis On Infinite Earths.

Wonder Woman: Gina Carano

Gina Carano as Cara Dune in The Mandalorian Season 2

If there is anybody who can portray a strong warrior, it's Gina Carano. Mixing great acting, beauty, and brawn: Carano has already shown her talents with Deadpool and Disney+'s The Mandalorian. Gina is possibly getting her own spin-off with Rangers of the New Republic.

As a bonus, Gina Carano could easily deliver on the combat since she was an MMA fighter before she was an actress. Much like Gal Gadot, Gina would likely be a case where fans would doubt her abilities as the character at first but she would end up shocking in the final product.

Superman: John David Washington

Rather than trying to do another Clark Kent, Earth-2 could change things up by focusing on Val-Zod. For those unaware, Val-Zod is actually the Superman of Earth-2 from the comics Multiverse. Val-Zod is the son of General Zod: he landed on Earth and became a pacifist and a wearer of the Superman moniker.

John David Washington has quickly risen in Hollywood: BlackKklansman and Tenet show he has a bright future. Many fans want him in either DC or Marvel; with Superman, he could bring something new to general audiences and fans alike.

Wonder Woman: Jamie Alexander

Lady Sif fighting besides Thor

Since Marvel seems to have forgotten that Lady Sif was a character, Jamie Alexander was kind of discarded from the MCU. Where was she during the events of Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame? Well, that's a plothole that Thor: Love And Thunder will have to explain if they can.

So unless she returns, Jamie might be treated better at DC. Not only does she look perfect for Diana Prince but Lady Sift shows her capabilities of playing a warrior. Jamie Alexander was also someone who tried for the role but lost to Gal Gadot. So perhaps Earth-2 can deliver on giving her the role she wanted.

Superman: Scott Eastwood

Scott Eastwood in The Fate of the Furious

Scott Eastwood, the son of legendary Clint Eastwood was featured on Earth-1 previously. Unfortunately, it was a wasted minuscule role in 2016's Suicide Squad. Many fans agreed that Scott Eastwood deserved better than playing a random soldier.

Scott does indeed have that superhero profile hence why so many fans have chosen him as the MCU Wolverine. If he is willing to work with DC again, he definitely could bring Superman to life. Similar to Henry Cavill, Scott is a talented actor who could bring many iconic qualities of the character to life while adding his own flavor.

Wonder Woman: Adrianne Palicki

Agents of SHIELD Adrianne Palicki Mockingbird

Unlike Jamie Alexander, Adrianne Palicki is an actress who not only tried but got the role of Wonder Woman. In 2011, there was going to be a Wonder Woman TV series starring Palicki. Unfortunately, the pilot was so bad that it never aired and the series never got made.

This was far from Palicki's fault though. Those who have seen the leaked pilot can agree that she tried her best with a terrible script and equally terrible suit. Palicki would even show she could play a superhero when she played Mockingbird on Agents Of SHIELD.

Superman: Joe Manganiello

Yes, he's currently Deathstroke on Earth-1 but it's currently up in the air if Deathstroke will return after Zack Snyder's Justice League. Joe Manganiello is not just a good actor but he's a nerd! He'd probably have no issue with jumping into the role of Superman.

Also, Joe looks like a real-life Superman: tall, ripped, and very handsome. Some might argue that he's too old for the role but Earth-2 could be the reverse DCEU. Instead of a veteran Batman, it's Superman who is more of a veteran a la Kingdom Come or Superman Beyond.

Wonder Woman: Elodie Yung

daredevil elodie yung elektra

There has been a pattern that actors who play Marvel characters that die end up joining DC as characters. Willem Dafoe, Djimon Hounsou, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Zachary Levi for example. Elodie Yung played the villainous Elektra on Netflix's Daredevil and The Defenders.

Obviously to play Elektra requires some physical capabilities which Yung demonstrated. She also played the ninja Jinx in G.I. Joe: Retaliation. So not only is she a talented fighter but Elektra showed her range as an actress.

Superman: Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm of Mad Men and Baby Driver fame has expressed interest in DC before. Jon Hamm tried for the role of Batman in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. He's publicly expressed that he'd still love to play the role if the script is good.

Fans agree with him as Batman but for any comic book role. Similar to Joe Manganiello, Jon Hamm could easily portray a veteran Superman with some grit to him. Jon has also played a wide variety of characters that display he could play the hands-on-hip superhero, the stranger in a strange land, and all the qualities that make a Superman.

Wonder Woman: Olga Kurylenko

Olga Kurylenko

When it came to casting Wonder Woman in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, there were a few women at the top of the lists. One of the top choices right alongside Gal Gadot was Olga Kurylenko. The actress has stated that she was disappointed at not getting the role but she wasn't bitter about it.

It's easy to see why Olga Kurylenko was a frontrunner: she proved to be a very capable Bond girl in Quantum Of Solace and has shown to be a very talented actress.  If anybody deserves to come back and try again for Earth-2's Wonder Woman, it's her.
