Warning: Spoilers For DC League of Super-Pets Below!

DC League of Super-Pets sets up more stories with its super-powered animals, leaving audiences to look forward to the possibility of DC League of Super-Pets 2. The animated superhero movie DC League of Super-Pets stars DCEU actor Dwayne Johnson as the voice of Krypto, the loyal canine friend of Superman (John Krasinski) who has helped the Justice League on many missions. This time, he faces a new challenge when the League is kidnapped by the villainous guinea pig Lulu (Kate McKinnon), who is determined to conquer the world.

DC League of Super-Pets is told from the perspective of multiple domestic animals, including the aforementioned Kryptonian Labrador Retriever, a boxer named Ace (Kevin Hart), and others who gain powers and join Krypto to stop Lulu. Like Krypto, DC League of Super-Pets has a big heart with its focus on love and loyalty between pets and the humans they adore, and audiences of all ages will be hopeful that Warner Bros. will greenlight a sequel to the animated feature soon.

In addition to Johnson, Hart, Krasinski, and McKinnon, DC League of Super-Pets also includes the voices of Keanu Reeves as Batman, Olivia Wilde as Lois Lane, Marc Maron as Lex Luthor, and many more notable names. The big question is how all of their stories could continue beyond the ending of DC League of Super-Pets. Here's everything we currently know about DC League of Super-Pets 2.

Will DC League Of Super-Pets 2 Happen?

DC League of Super-Pets Superman and Krypto

DC League of Super-Pets 2 has not been officially announced as of this writing. However, with the close relationship Dwayne Johnson and his Seven Bucks Productions are developing with DC Films, between DC League of Super-Pets and Black Adam, it is a good assumption that there are hopes to continue the former. Already, the original movie's director, Jared Stern, has teased Super-Pets 2 ideas. Whether they come to fruition will ultimately depend on the first movie's box office performance and overall reception, but reactions to DC League of Super-Pets have been largely positive so far, so DC League of Super-Pets 2 has good prospects.

DC League Of Super-Pets 2 Cast: Will The Voice Actors & Characters Return?

Should DC League of Super-Pets 2 be among DC's upcoming movies, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart can surely be counted on to return as Krypto and Ace, a.k.a. Bat-Hound. The same can be said for Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Thomas Middleditch, and Ben Schwartz as fellow Super-Pets PB, Merton, Chip, Keith, and Mark, respectively. Kate McKinnon and Maya Erskine could also be expected to voice Lulu and Mercy Graves, along with the main supporting cast and the film's Justice League voice actors.

DC League of Super-Pets' post-credits scenes set up their team's next story, with Mercy Graves finding Lulu in a hot dog stand after her defeat and the two joining forces. Additionally, Black Adam and his dog meet Superman and Krypto in the park in the second end-credits scene. Aside from being a tease of Dwayne Johnson's next DC movie, Black Adam, this scene also sets up Black Adam as being part of the DC League of Super Pets universe, so audiences can expect to see Lulu, Mercy Graves, and possibly Black Adam and his dog return as the villains of DC League of Super-Pets 2.

DC League Of Super-Pets 2 Release Date Prediction

If DC League of Super-Pets 2 moves forward, it will, of course, take time to put together as a computer-animated movie. That means audiences likely should not expect Krypto the Superdog and friends in DC League of Super-Pets 2 until 2024 or 2025. Until then, the original DC League of Super-Pets is out with plenty of canine and pet-centered superhero fun for audiences to enjoy.
