After Dwayne "The Rock," Johnson and Kevin Hart were announced to play the roles of Krypto and Ace, respectively, little had been known about the rest of the voice cast. But the new trailer offers fans some details on what other actors have joined the cast. DC League of Super-Pets features the voice talents of Natasha Lyonne as Merton, the Flash's turtle, Diego Luna as Chip, Green Lantern's squirrel, and Vanessa Bayer as PB, Wonder Woman's pig who join Krypto and Ace in their quest to save the Justice League. Comedian Marc Maron stars as Lex Luthor, while Ben Schwartz, Kate McKinnon, Thomas Middleditch, Jameela Jamil, and Keanu Reeves have also been cast in undisclosed roles in the animated feature.

While a majority of DC's animated projects are geared toward adapting comic book storylines, the success of such animated films as The LEGO Batman Movie and Teen Titans GO! To The Movies proves Warner Bros. and DC can bring their cast of iconic characters to a young audience. With the promise of plenty of laughs and sporting a talented voice cast, DC League of Super-Pets is sure to be a family-friendly adventure in the world of DC's beloved characters. And if successful, DC League of Super-Pets may very well be the introduction to a brand new animated franchise.
