The virtual convention DC FanDome will be returning in October 2021. Like many other industries, numerous pop culture conventions were heavily disrupted due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, forcing many annual conventions to either shift online or be cancelled altogether. Warner Bros. and DC Comics opted to create DC FanDome, an extravagant online celebration of DC across various mediums. The virtual convention featured an extremely high-quality production - with two weeks of shooting and three weeks for post-production. The event was split into 2 days, with panels for Zack Snyder's Justice League, Wonder Woman 1984, and The Suicide Squad. The first teaser trailer for The Batman was even dropped during the event. DC FanDome 2020 managed to get over 22 million views across its various events and panels.

Now, DC Comics has announced that DC FanDome will return in October 2021. This time around, the event will only last one day - with October 16th set as the current date. At the moment, there are no confirmed panels or events, but DC Comics assured fans that news about what DC FanDome 2021 contains will come soon.
