The DCEU and other DC Comics movies have put their heroes up against dangerous villains popularized on the pages over the past few decades. The likes of The Joker, Zod, and so many others have appeared in films but some notable ones have yet to show up.

Villains that have appeared in TV series but not movies will count as they are still threats fit for the big screen. Villains that have appeared in movies despite not having big roles such as Deathstroke and Darkseid will not be included on the list though they could still lead the way for a future film.

Eclipso

The powerful Eclipso, as seen in the comics

An evil entity in DC comics, Eclipso is a spirit of vengeance trapped inside of the heart of darkness stone. With the power of corruption, Eclipso can control others into giving in to their darkest temptations.

An antagonist to the Justice Lague, Eclipso can work as the main villain for any hero that represents good. His motivations for causing evil for the sake of it makes him a sick twisted villain and a major threat to any superhero movie.

Circe

Wonder Woman 1984 Next Movie Villains Circe

The witch with Goddess level power is known to face Wonder Woman as she is said to be her downfall. Circe often uses her magic to turn men into animals and to give herself immortality.

Circe is as much of a threat to Wonder Woman as the likes of Cheetah and Aries. A movie appearance would be her chance to show just how much of a deadly sorcerous she is.

Black Adam

Black Adam DC Comics

Many fans have been looking forward to seeing Black Adam, with Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson playing the character. The movie is making its debut in November 2022. The Shazam! movie had the self-titled hero missing his best enemy and since The Rock is likely playing a heroic version, a villainous Black Adam is still not coming.

Dictator and king of Kahndaq, Black Adam is a fierce leader that can go against the likes of Superman. Despite doing what he can to protect his people, his dictatorship makes him a villain at heart as his rule is ultimate.

Atrocitus

Atrocitus leading the Red Lantern Corps.

Atrocitus is the creator of the red lantern battery using the blood of ancient demons after the demise of his planet. Leading the lanterns of rage is one of the coolest Green Lantern villains, the vomiting burning blood Atrocitus.

Red Lanterns are designed to epitomize what it means to be villains. Fueled by rage and hatred, a red lantern will die if the ring is removed. Perhaps the 2011 Ryan Renolds' Green Lantern movie could have been better if Atrocitus was the main villain.

The Rogues

Flash's rogues' gallery in the comics

Captain Boomerang is the only member of Flash's Rogues that has made an appearance in movies. Fans would like to see The Rogues in the upcoming Flash movie along with the confirmed Michael Keaton's Batman.

Captain Cold, Heat Wave, and Golden Glider, along with the other members have taken a moral code to never kill heroes, women, and children. The actions they do for survival would make them empathetic characters to audiences that can still be looked at as villains.

Clayface

Clayface in battle in the comics

With multiple franchises, many of Batman's main villains have appeared with each adaptation. Clayface is an unexpected villain who would be great for making a live-action debut as the next big villain.

Actor Basil Karlo was chemically mutated into a giant shapeshifting creature made of clay. He is both a physical and mental threat as he can shape his limbs into weapons and turn himself into an ally in disguise.

Mongul

Mongul in DC Comics Art

An alien whose intellect and knowledge in war are only matched by his strength. Mongul is capable of destroying the earth as he is in possession of a planet-size battleship known as Warworld.

Mongul has yet to prove his dominance as Lex Luthor and General Zod have always been picked as the main villains instead. His own daughter Mongal appeared in the movies before him as a member of the Suicide Squad.

Amazo

DC Comics Amazo Robot

An android with the power to mimic superpower abilities within his close proximity, Amazo is a threat to all. His copycat abilities make him more of a threat when fighting against multiple heroes at the same time as he is able to copy all abilities used.

His powers combined with a virus that android spread worldwide causes him to be a threat to life itself. That could make him an ideal villain for any hero to overcome.

Hush

Hush from DC COmics

Bruce Wayne's close friend Tommy Elliot turns into his enemy as he wants nothing more than to destroy Bruce Wayne and take over his life. What makes Hush different from the Batman villains in previous movies is the personal connection and childhood friendship that he has had with Bruce Wayne.

The former surgeon has masterminded multiple attacks on Batman such as destroying Arkham Asylum and using other nemeses to psychologically torment the cape crusader. Batman fans have even predicted actors who can play Hush, hoping he will appear.

Bizarro

Bizarro Superman coming out of flames in DC Comics

General Zod matches well with Superman's strength and Lex Luthor his intellect, but Bizarro goes against his morals. Bizarro is often portrayed as a misunderstood villain who doesn't realize that he works opposite from how he perceives the world.

He's interesting in that he opposes Superman in strength that matches his own and freeze vision and heat breath to oppose the man of steel. Created as the opposite of Superman, it is a surprise to many that Bizarro hasn't appeared as a main villain in the movies yet.
