Rami Malek and Zoe Saldana are set to work with director David O’ Russell, joining the stacked cast of his next film. Russell has directed a number of movies over the years since his feature-length debut behind the camera in 1994, maintaining a diverse approach to approach to storytelling. Some of his most famous works include American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbook, and The Fighter. For his latest project, Russell has already gathered an impressive list of stars. Now, two more big names can be added to the ranks.

According to Deadline, Malek and Saldana have signed on for Russell’s next movie. They’ll appear alongside Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington, who were previously announced as part of the cast. The project, O’Russell’s first the 2015 biopic Joy, is said to be based on an original idea though specific plot details remain under wraps.

Malek is perhaps best-known for his portrayal of Elliot Alderson in Mr. Robot, a role which earned him an Emmy win. He also won an Oscar for his performance as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody. Going forward, in the coming year, Malek has prominent roles in The Little Things and No Time to Die.

Saldana, for her part, is well-known for her appearances in huge franchises. She’s had roles in Star Trek and Avatar, portraying Neytiri in the latter and returning to the character for the upcoming sequels. She’s also played Gamora in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, making her first appearance in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy. While it’s unclear what shape Russell’s next movie will take, it’s obvious from the talent assembled that it will be big.
