Dash & Lily features several up-and-coming performers, so where have you seen them before? Netflix's romantic comedy series is based on Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, a 2010 book from David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. The duo previously collaborated for Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, which was eventually adapted for the big screen by Hustlers writer-director Lorene Scafaria.

Set in Manhattan, Dash & Lily follows the title characters/strangers as they communicate through a red notebook during the holiday season. Their game of dares begins at a library, shifts to Central Park, and eventually takes Lily to an underground punk concert. As the young protagonists grow closer, real-life relationships make their unique friendship more complicated. Dash & Lily released in November 2020 on Netflix.
