Warning! Spoilers ahead for Infinite Frontier #4!

The ever-growing army of Darkseid has been discovered by DC's heroes in Infinite Frontier #4. Up until this point, Darkseid's return has only been revealed to readers and certain heroes. The former ruler of Apokolips has been sneakily orchestrating DC's next crisis from Earth-Omega, where he was once imprisoned. DC has described this version of Darkseid as "the one true Darkseid," teasing that he is the culmination of all past versions of himself.

So far, the Infinite Frontier miniseries has followed a core set of characters from around the Multiverse. Every step that each character has taken has led to them colliding in this issue. This occurs as the newly formed Infinity Incorporated and Black Lantern Roy Harper's hijacked shuttle lands on Earth-Omega. They only have a moment or two to grasp their surroundings before their shuttle, out of nowhere, is hit by an almost identical model. X-Tract, Bones and Chase are among the passengers on the other shuttle.

In Infinite Frontier #4 by Joshua Williamson, Xermanico, Paul Pelletier, Jesus Merino, Norm Rapmund, and Romulo Fajardo Jr., DC's heroes stumble across Darkseid's army. Somehow Darkseid recruited the Anti-Monitor's Shadow Demons! Clearly, they are just a small portion of what Darkseid's army will eventually become, but it's still a huge get. The Shadow Demons are not to be messed with and it seems that they act as guards to Earth-Omega. So, it's very likely that Infinite Frontier's heroes will be facing off against them in the next issue.

The true extent of Darkseid's expanding army has yet to be revealed. Recently, an alternate version of Captain Atom was recruited by Darkseid. He went as far as to kill himself in the fear that Darkseid would hear about his betrayal. How many more heroes have already been corrupted? It seems that they have been busy recruiting as many powerful beings as possible. It doesn't look like Darkseid's full army will even be revealedby the end of Infinite Frontier's sixth and final issue. DC has teased that Darkseid will defeat all of the Multiverse's heroes before continuing his journey in the new Justice League Incarnate spin-off series. So, the mystery will continue to be unveiled bit by bit.

With literally everyone notified about something going down on Earth-Omega, a huge battle is set to break out. Even President Superman and Justice Incarnate just got notified about Flash being stuck there. They will be heading there as soon as they deal with Machinehead's new Injustice team, who revealed themselves right at the same time. Darkseid's sinister plans are going to become quite evident as DC's heroes and anti-heroes come face to face with the villain himself. It's a lot to look forward to! For now, fans can read Infinite Frontier #4 which is available in comic book stores and on digital platforms now.
