Spoilers ahead for Green Lantern #6!

The name Lonar may not mean much to casual comic book fans, but this forgotten enemy of Darkseid is traveling the DC multiverse, pursuing a secret agenda. He appeared on Earth-3 in the recently-concluded Crime Syndicate miniseries and has been appearing on Earth-0 in the Green Lantern comics, now he appears again in Green Lantern #6, on sale now in print and digital, with a cryptic message for John Stewart.

Lonar is a resident of New Genesis, and part of the larger Fourth World Saga, a sprawling epic that told the saga of the New Gods and their struggles against Darkseid, the embodiment of evil. Created by the legendary Jack Kirby, Lonar is an explorer and helped discover the first signs of the Old Gods of the Third World. In recent months, Lonar has been making moves across the newly-reformed multiverse. He first appeared on Oa not long after the Central Battery was destroyed and made cryptic comments about the Emotional Spectrum before vanishing. Lonar appeared again on Earth-3 as a member of Alex Luthor’s Legion of Justice, a team formed in opposition to the Crime Syndicate. Now, Lonar has appeared once again on Earth-0, with a warning for John Stewart. Green Lantern #6 is written by Geoffrey Thorne, with art by Marco Santucci and Tom Raney, with colors by Mike Atiyeh and letters by Simon Bowland.
