Even in a hardcore game like Dark Souls 3, fashion plays an important part. While looking good may not help players survive in the doomed and dangerous in-game world, fashionable attire is sometimes an important part of roleplaying.

Either the player decides to use an entire armor set as it is, or they choose to combine pieces from different armor sets, there are infinite possible combinations to find the perfect style. From cool-looking boss outfits to combinations that resemble holy knights and dark priests, Dark Souls 3 has a bit of everything regarding fashion, even for the hardest-to-please players.

Vilhelm's Set

The player is standing next to a bonfire while wearing Vilhelm's set in Dark Souls 3.

Vilhelm's set is an outfit acquired through the Ashes of Ariandel DLC, located at the Ariandel Chapel Bonfire. Characterized by the classic dark-colored Dark Souls vibe, it resembles a short poncho in the front and a medium-sized cape at the back. Its best element is that it looks surprisingly clean for a Dark Souls game. In addition, the dim but detailed golden lines that are sewn on this armor serve as a great stylish detail.

Ordained Set

Sister Friede is holding her Scythe in Dark Souls 3.

Inspired by one of the hardest bosses in Dark Souls 3, the Ordained Set is Sister Friede's armor. Dressing in Friede's classic grey-colored robe in PvP can overwhelm the opponent simply by making them remember the hard time they had versus Sister Friede.

In addition, this can be combined with one of the strongest weapons in-game, Friede's Great Scythe. This completes the full and makes the player feel like an end game boss that players will have a hard time defeating.

Fire Keeper Set

The player is wearing the firekeeper mask and robe in Dark Souls 3.

Covered in a black and grey robe, the Firekeeper is a great option in Dark Souls 3. Since the player looks like a monk or priest, it can be perfectly matched with a magic build.

However, the only thing lacking from the Fire Keeper set is a great headpiece. Although players can keep it as is if they wish to show their face, some solid alternatives to maintain the dark-priest vibe are the exile mask and the dark mask.

Eastern Armor Set

One of the most cool-looking armor sets in the game is the Eastern Armor. The thick red and gold armor makes the player look like a mighty warrior, even slightly resembling a Japanese samurai.

Although the set looks great as it is, a solid change would be to replace the mask with the Painting Guardian hood for a more unique approach. In either case, it's one of those builds that fit perfectly for a strong warrior that charging straight into battle.

Archdeacon Set

For a holy priest of the church look, the Archdeacon set is one of the best options available. It is a perfect match for magic builds, as it also provides the relevant combat stats.

Although it is inspired by the Deacons of the Deep, one of the least intimidating bosses in Dark Souls 3, the armor set itself is a stylish option. As a white robe with gold and red lined details similar to clerics, the Archdeacon set is a full set that keeps mage users in style.

Armor Of The Sun Set

One of the funniest armor sets in the game is the Armor of the Sun set, inspired by Solaire of Astora, a friendly NPC with a mysterious questline. The most characteristic piece of the armor set is the skeptical bright yellow and orange sun located at the center of the chest piece.

Combined with the Praise the Sun emote, it can be one of the most intimidating ways to enter a PvP fight. As one of the few armor sets that differentiate from the game's dark vibe, Armor of the Sun is a great option to be in style.

Black Hand Set

The player is wearing the Black Hand set in Irithyll in Dark Souls 3.

The Black Hand Set is characterized by its rugged details in an outfit that resembles a cowboy set in the Dark Souls 3 universe. With a long fedora hat, starting a PvP duel with this is like saying "this corrupted world ain't big enough for the two of us." In an ideal world, Dark Souls 3 would also include a revolver to finish the full cowboy vibe, but, for now, this is as close as the player can get.

Black Witch Set

Dark Souls 3's The Ringed City DLC features some of the game's hardest bosses, but it also includes the stylish Black Witch set. Although it's called the Black Witch Set, it is actually purple-colored. It is one of the best-looking sets for female magic-users, as it perfectly resembles a witch with its long purple-colored robe.

In addition, this set offers two options regarding the headpiece. The player can either use the Black Witch hat, which is a classic large-sized purple witch hat, or the Witch Veil. The latter makes the player look like an actual spooky purple ghost.

Wolf Knight Set

Knight Artorias in Dark Souls

Influenced by the most tragic character of Dark Souls, Artorias, the Wolf Knight Set is one of the thinnest armor sets in the game. It is a silver-colored armor with small blue-cloth details around it that gives a unique vibe to the wearer. If combined with Friede's Great Scythe, it can make one of the most beautiful builds in the game focused around the blue and silver color combinations.

Desert Pyromancer

One of the most unique sets in Dark Souls 3 is the Desert Pyromancer. With only the necessary clothing in the form of gloves, a corset, and a skirt, Desert Pyromancer is probably one of the most revealing outfits in the game.

Nevertheless, its dark color palette makes it a great option for assassin builds that focus on agility. This way, assassins can keep their armor light and their movement speed as high as possible.
