Dark Side Of The Ring is a must-watch for wrestling fans, but where is the docuseries available to watch online? Produced by Vice, Dark Side Of The Ring is a documentary series that premiered on Viceland in early 2019 and explores controversial events in the professional wrestling industry via a mix of archive footage, dramatic re-enactments and interviews with wrestling legends. Its six-episode first season scooped Best Pro Wrestling Documentary at the 2019 Wrestling Observer Newsletter Awards and focused on subjects like the mysterious 1986 death of wrestler Gino Hernandez or the infamous Montreal Screwjob that saw WWF screw over Bret “The Hitman” Hart at the 1997 Survivor Series match.

Dark Side Of The Ring season 2 arrived in 2020 and kicked off proceedings with a two-part episode covering the tragic double-murder and suicide committed by WWE star Chris Benoit in 2007. Other episodes in the sophomore season explored incidents including the assassination of wrestler-turned-mafioso Dino Bravo and the shocking death of wrestling legend Owen Hart during a stunt gone wrong at WWF’s Over The Edge event in 1999.

There are plenty of ways to watch Dark Side Of The Ring online but unfortunately, Netflix isn’t one of them. However, Hulu subscribers are in luck as the streaming service has every season 1 and season 2 episode of Dark Side Of The Ring, plus all nine episodes of its Chris Gethard-hosted aftershow Dark Side Of The Ring: After Dark. Likewise, Prime has both seasons of the show plus every Dark Side Of The Ring: After Dark episode released so far but subscribers will need to invest in the Discovery+ add-on to watch them which costs an additional $6.99 a month.

Thanks to the success of Dark Side Of The Ring, which ranks as Viceland’s most-watched show, Vice recently ordered two spinoff shows. The first, titled Dark Side Of Football, will explore scandals in America’s most popular sport and is set to premiere in mid-May 2021. The second spinoff, Dark Side Of The 90s, is currently in production and will focus on controversial pop culture moments of the 1990s.
