Everyone knows that Batman is one of the most prepared and capable heroes in the DC Universe, even having plans to defeat the Justice League, but DC's darker Batman, Midnighter, might just be an even bigger threat to the Justice League or anyone else.

The man known as Midnighter was part of a top secret team called StormWatch along with his future husband Apollo. This entire team was destroyed on its very first mission, with only Apollo and Midnighter surviving. They decided to take the unique skills they gained from this team to the streets to fight crime and try to make the world a better place in their own way. One of the things that makes Midnighter so wildly effective at fighting crime is the presence of a super computer in his brain, which allows him to predict the outcome of any situation. This makes fighting him near impossible, and it's also what proves he could bring down the Justice League.

RELATED: DC's Darkest Version of Batman Became More Tragic Than Bruce With One Line In the 2009 limited series Justice League: Cry For Justice by James Robinson and Mauro Cascioli, readers witness the Justice League attacked by the villain Prometheus, who has a super computer of his own inside his helmet. Prometheus was originally created as a dark mirror to Batman, someone who watched his criminal parents be shot to death in front of him by a young James Gordon. The super computer inside his helmet enables Prometheus to defeat every single Justice League member with ease, by predicting their most likely action and finding the weakness to it. This is exactly what Midnighter's super computer is capable of doing. So, what would happen if these two characters come up against each other in a fight?

Even A Justice League-Level Threat Can't Beat Midnighter

Midnighter Prometheus

Readers are given the answer to this wild match-up in the recent DC vs. Vampires: All-out War #4 by Matthew Rosenberg, Alex Paknadel, and Pasquale Qualano. When Midnighter comes up against a vampiric Prometheus, the two face off to see who truly has the strongest super computer. In one of the coolest fight scenes in recent comics, Midnighter and Prometheus don't actually throw a single punch. They simply watch each other and run down all the possible ways the fight could play out, and apparently there isn't a single situation where Prometheus could win. Prometheus admits defeat and ends up letting himself be killed as Midnighter moves on to help his teammates against the other vampires. The important part here is the fact Prometheus' super computer is strong enough to bring down the entire Justice League and yet, when it comes up against Midnighter's super computer, there isn't a single thing Prometheus can do to win.

Thankfully for everyone, Midnighter is a good guy and almost always fights on the side of justice, but if there's ever a time when Midnighter turns against the Justice League or anyone else, this dark Batman's fight against Prometheus already showed just how dangerous that could truly be.
