Spoilers for Daredevil #5 by Marvel Comics

In his efforts to recruit villains to join his fight against The Hand, Daredevil just stole a former Captain America's shield after beating Jon Walker in a fight. In Daredevil #5 by Marvel Comics, Walker confronts the hero. But, instead of stopping Matt Murdock, the former Captain America gets beaten so severely that Daredevil steals his shield as he will seemingly use it as his own weapon as the King of the Fist.

In his current ongoing series at Marvel Comics, Daredevil is looking to add to his ranks as the new King of The Fist, as he's working alongside Elektra Natchios, the new Queen of The Fist, to take down The Hand once and for all. Matt Murdock is taking an unorthodox approach to building his own army for the upcoming battle between ancient organizations, as he's collecting imprisoned villains and giving them a second chance to fight alongside him with The Fist. However, former Captain America Jon Walker is standing in his way, leading Daredevil to fight U.S. Agent and ultimately steal his shield.

In Daredevil #5 by Chip Zdrasky, Marco Checchetto, Matthew Wilson, and VC's Clayton Cowles from Marvel Comics, Daredevil heads to the Myrmidon, a supervillain prison in the ocean. Matt Murdock hopes to recruit those left behind in poor conditions and offer them a new chance at life alongside The Fist. However, his recruitment attempts are met by the shield-wielding Jon Walker, as the former Captain America refuses to join his army, instead fighting Daredevil from freeing prisoners. Unfortunately for U.S. Agent, the fight is over almost as soon as it begins.

Daredevil Steals Jon Walker's Shield As His Own Weapon

Daredevil Steals Jon Walker's Shield

Daredevil beats Jon Walker so badly that the former Captain America can do nothing but lay on the ground bleeding as he can barely find the strength to insult the King of the Fist. In the end, Daredevil doesn't discard U.S. Agent's shield but takes it for himself, as he appears to add it to his own weapons arsenal that he will use to take down The Hand.

Daredevil wielding the former Captain America's stolen shield makes for an odd yet intimidating sight. Matt Murdock is getting all the firepower he can to prepare for his upcoming battle against The Hand, so adding U.S. Agent's shield to his weaponry gives the hero another powerful weapon at his disposal. Readers can see Daredevil steal Jon Walker's U.S. Agent/Captain America shield in Daredevil #5 by Marvel Comics, which is in comic book stores now.
