Warning! Spoilers for Daredevil #1 by Marvel Comics

Marvel's Daredevil is officially leaving New York and putting his trust in Spider-Man to pick up the slack and replace him when he's gone. In a new preview for Daredevil #1 by Marvel Comics, Matt Murdock goes on one last mission with the web-slinging hero, admitting he doesn't think he's coming back after he leaves his home. However, Daredevil reveals that Spider-Man is the one perfect person to inspire the city and give it hope, even in his absence.

Following the Devil's Reign event and Kingpin's defeat, Daredevil is turning his attention to The Hand as he's working alongside Elektra to take down the criminal organization for good. To do so, Matt Murdock will seemingly be leaving New York and going international to bring down the corrupt organization - which will surely put him in conflict with the Hand's new Beast, the Punisher. But, before he leaves, Daredevil is hanging out with Spider-Man, showing why the web-slinger is the one hero Murdock trusts to protect the city he's spent his life protecting when he's gone.

Both Daredevil's trying to stop The Hand means that New York is no longer under their protection. But, Matt Murdock feels comfortable enough to leave Hell's Kitchen behind because the one hero he trusts, Spider-Man, will be there to pick up the pieces and protect it as he faces much bigger threats elsewhere. Spider-Man and Daredevil have long relied on each other and become important allies, but now, it seems like Murdock trusts his fellow hero so much that he's willing to leave his life's mission behind and count on the web-slinger more than ever before. Daredevil #1 by Marvel Comics is in stores on Wednesday.
