Following his latest romance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Daredevil: Born Again star Charlie Cox weighs in on his She-Hulk and Karen Page love triangle. Cox's blind lawyer Matt Murdock recently made his return to the MCU with Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the latter of which saw the character begin dating Tatiana Maslany's titular superhero attorney in the final two episodes of the show. With Cox also set to return for Daredevil: Born Again, audiences have been filled with questions surrounding which other characters from the Netflix show will return, including one key relationship at the heart of it.

While appearing at the German Comic-Con Winter Edition (via Twitter user Murdocklorian), Charlie Cox was asked his thoughts on Daredevil's love triangle with She-Hulk and Karen Page. The MCU star leaned his affection towards his Daredevil co-star Deborah Ann Woll, feeling that it doesn't get "more deep than Karen" and teasing his hopes for her and Elden Henson to return. See what Cox said below:

With Matt Murdock, I don't think it gets more deep than Karen Page, and shout out to the wonderful Deborah Ann Woll, who's just amazing. I was saying this to [Elden Henson] yesterday...I don't know what's going to happen with the other characters in the new show, but I know for a fact that Elden and Deborah were the heartbeat of what we did before, and the show is a success because of them.

Could Daredevil: Born Again See She-Hulk Return?

Considering She-Hulk: Attorney at Law seemingly left off with Jennifer Walters and Matt Murdock keeping their dating going, with Maslany's character even introducing him to her family in the show's finale, the future of their relationship has been a major talking point among MCU fans. Maslany herself has frequently campaigned for her appearance in Daredevil: Born Again, jokingly saying she's prepared to wait outside the set of the MCU show revival in her She-Hulk costume in the hopes of making an appearance, constantly texting Cox to see if she's needed. The Daredevil actor has also called himself a "huge supporter" of She-Hulk making an appearance in his show, speculating it could be anything from a "vacation fling" to something with "more substance to it."

Though both Cox and Maslany are clearly game for their reunion to happen, the question becomes whether a She-Hulk appearance in Daredevil: Born Again could actually work. While his character is now firmly set in the MCU after the Netflix show held loose ties to the wider franchise, the major differences in tones could hold a further exploration of their relationship back. However, with Cox calling Daredevil: Born Again a "whole different thing" rather than strictly being season 4 of the Netflix show, it could be possible that the shift towards the eponymous comic book storyline could result in an overall change in tone allowing She-Hulk and Daredevil to get more time together.

Why Karen & Foggy Need To Appear in Daredevil: Born Again

Foggy, Matt and Karen from Netflix's Daredevil

While those who fell in love with Maslany's She-Hulk are hopeful to see her appear in the Disney+ show, the bigger point of expectations with audiences is for Woll's Karen Page and Henson's Foggy to return for Daredevil: Born Again. Cox's eponymous vigilante was undoubtedly the show's lead character, but his partners in law were equally important in his character growth, while also holding unique arcs of their own, which would leave MCU fans disappointed should they not appear, especially if not to address his relationship with She-Hulk. Only time will tell when Daredevil: Born Again begins streaming on Disney+ in 2024.
