Bullseye is reportedly set to debut in season 3 of Daredevil. Fans of the Man Without Fear have long been waiting to see one of his biggest foes properly portrayed. While season 1 of the Charlie Cox led Netflix series pitted the blind hero against Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), there was one quick tease that excited fans. A hired gun from Fisk featured an ace playing card in his bag, a major nod to Daredevil's sharpshooting rival Bullseye. At the time, it appeared to be a major hint that he was coming sooner rather than later.

Prior to season 2, there were rumors that Jason Statham was eyeing a role for Daredevil that was heavily believed to be Bullseye. That deal fell apart and the second season moved on without any mention of him. Even throughout the casting process for season 3 there weren't any reports of Bullseye being part of the plans, but it appears he actually is.

That Hashtag Show reports Wilson Bethel is going to play Bullseye in season 3 of Daredevil. Bethel was previously announced to be part of the cast as an unnamed FBI agent. This appears to have just been a cover or is Bethel's character's cover in the show too. This isn't confirmed by Marvel just yet, but the introduction of Bullseye has been a long time coming, so hopefully this turns out to be true.

Bullseye is one of the deadliest assassins around and immediately ups the stakes of Daredevil season 3. Matt Murdock is already struggling after The Defenders too, so a potential showdown between the two could come at the worst possible time for Matt. Bullseye isn't just a skilled marksman, but is also an expert in hand to hand combat. He's got the skills to give Daredevil everything he can handle in season 3, and his inclusion probably factors into the larger story too.

It is widely believed that season 3 will in some way adapt the 'Born Again' storyline from the comics. In this arc, Kingpin rips apart every aspect of Matt's life. He breaks him from within after definitively discovering who is the man behind Daredevil's mask. Considering Matt's life is already quite broken as we head into season 3, it may not be that hard for Kingpin to truly destroy Hell's Kitchen's hero. Bullseye could once again be employed by Kingpin to make things difficult for Daredevil.

How big of a role Bullseye gets is still unclear, as is the chance of him actually suiting up. A true recreation of his comic outfit may be a bit too big of a reach for a grounded series like Daredevil, but if there's any hints to it, hopefully it is just better than the take given to Colin Farrell.
