New footage from Daredevil season 3 introduces the season's new antagonist: Bullseye. Marvel and Netflix are bringing arguably their most popular collaboration back before the end of the year and are ramping up the marketing. The third season of Daredevil arrives in less than two weeks, and with New York Comic Con underway, the show is being featured. An exclusive poster available at the convention was previously revealed and centered on the conflict between Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio).

Daredevil is dead as far as the public knows, but he returns to Hell's Kitchen when Fisk is freed from prison in season 3. This immediately puts the two strong willed men at odds, with Matt physically incapable of suiting up at the start of the season. However, Fisk isn't operating alone, and will be employing the talents of Bullseye, an iconic Marvel character that has strong ties to Daredevil lore - and a new trailer for Daredevil season 3 puts him at the center.

Netflix released brand new footage from Daredevil season 3 that was glimpsed during the show's New York Comic Con panel. The footage focuses entirely on Agent Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter (Wilson Bethel), who is shown using his variety of skills. He's a skilled marksmen with a gun, but also has incredible accuracy throwing items, whether they be throwing stars or Daredevil's batons. Those abilities go along nicely with his hand-to-hand combat training, making him a deadly threat for Matt in season 3, as the footage shows.

The footage is quite exciting for fans of the Bullseye character, seeing as it puts his full array of specialties into play. He takes down several armed individuals without hesitation, but is then shown on the brink of a mental breakdown. He'll be working with Fisk in season 3, with the now freed crime lord using him to hunt down the Devil of Hell's Kitchen that's been long pestering him. Based on the few glimpses of Matt in the trailer, Bullseye is going to come incredibly close to achieving those goals, even if it means he has to suit up as Daredevil himself.

One other moment that is sure to get fans of the comics both excited and scared is when Poindexter says, "Hello Karen." In the comics, Bullseye is responsible for killing Karen during Kevin Smith's Guardian Devil comic story. That arc is said to be a major influence on Daredevil season 3, so this is either clever and manipulative marketing to get fans buzzing, or a sign of what is to come in the new season. Thankfully, all thirteen episodes are almost here and Marvel's finally being open about the fact that Bullseye is involved.
