The success of Marvel's Netflix properties -- Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage -- have continued their forward momentum as this portion of the MCU continues to develop into its own rich shared world. It all started in Hell's Kitchen with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) back in April of 2015 when the first season of Daredevil became available. Since then, fans have gone downtown with Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and all the way uptown to Harlem with Luke Cage (Mike Colter).

Soon Marvel and Netflix will finish up the introductions when Iron Fist becomes available in March 2017. Danny Rand (Finn Jones) rounds out the cast for the Netflix team-up, The Defenders, which has already started filming. Joining the series' namesakes will also be great characters like Misty Knight (Simone Missick), Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), Jerri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss), and of course, Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) along with a host of other familiar faces. Each show has done well to build a shared world while also giving fans a completely unique experience.

One of the stand out aspects of Luke Cage, for instance, was the incredible detail that was put into the music of the series. That show was the first to receive a vinyl release, with Daredevil and Jessica Jones not long after. The album art for these records was designed by artist Matthew Woodson, and the covers were so striking that Mondo has turned them into posters. The 18" x 24" screen prints will be available for purchase on November 10th, and could be a neat addition to any fan's collection. Take a look for yourself:

Missing from the collection, for the time being, is Iron Fist. Undoubtedly, fans should expect that the fourth series to be added to the collection shortly after it airs next spring. As The Defenders continues to come together, few details have been released about the direction of the cross-over series. Elektra (Elodie Yung) will return and a new (as yet unspecified) villain, played by Sigourney Weaver, will be the main antagonist for the series.

Despite the number of times "The Incident" is referred to in the Netflix branch, it doesn't look like Marvel has any plans for these characters to actually appear in the MCU. Marvel's Kevin Feige hasn't completely ruled out a Netflix/Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D./MCU cross-over, but he says the timing has to be right.

Daredevil seasons 1 and 2, Jessica Jones season 1, and Luke Cage season 1 are streaming on Netflix now. Iron Fist will be available March 17, 2017. The Defenders, The Punisher, Daredevil season 3, and Jessica Jones season 2 do not have release dates yet.
