Its IMDb score is a measly 3.1/10, and what follows is the percentage of fans who liked watching the Silva sisters and their shenanigans on TV. As per a screenshot shared by a fan on Reddit, the rating, “55%” of TLC viewers have given Darcey & Stacey a thumbs up after watching it. “The internet likes Darcey and Stacey just like 55%,” the fan wrote in their caption, referencing the line made iconic by 90 Day Fiancé couple Nicole and Azan on season 4.
Azan threatened Nicole that he would not come to America if she did not go to the gym and become healthy. He declared, “physically I’m attracted to Nicole, but it’s not like… just like, for example, 55 percent.” The screenshot of Darcey & Stacey from Google then prompted Reddit users to show off their clever puns, commenting things like, “Just proves that 55% of viewers like watching a train wreck,” and “That is 55% more than I thought!” on the thread.
90 Day Fiancé fans joked that the show is “stupid” but what makes it watchable is the fact that it’s such a “trainwreck.” Darcey & Stacey’s season 1 premiere had trended nationally on Twitter, and during its 10-episode schedule, it had also ranked among TV’s most-watched social shows every Sunday night. From having two kids each at the same time to getting divorced on the same day, Darcey and Stacey have shown how competitive they have been toward each other as twins.
