Darcey Silva broke down over Georgi Rusev’s constant dishonesty on Darcey & Stacey and finally decided to walk away from him. Episode 5 of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions for Darcey, who gave her engagement ring back to Georgi last week. The shocking move by Darcey had come after she met his ex-wife Octavia Bellinger, who revealed that Georgi and she were still legally married. Georgi, who’d claimed to have divorced Octavia was caught in a new lie, and Darcey has given up on chasing him.
With suspicions about Georgi’s past looming over Darcey’s head, the best thing she could apparently have done is meet his estranged wife. After the slew of accusations Darcey, Stacey, and Florian Sukaj threw towards Georgi in front of his friends, the 90 Day Fiancé star DM’d Octavia who was okay with meeting her. “I just feel like whenever I ask questions, he… shuts down, and then I get, like, that whole cold demeanor from him,” Darcey divulged, and Octavia who referred to Georgi as a “princess” spilled some juicy secrets. According to Octavia, the Bulgarian Darcey & Stacey star was looking for sugar mamas on his computer, and more shockingly, wasn’t even divorced from her yet.
According to a clip from episode 5 of Darcey & Stacey posted by ET, Darcey has managed to pluck the courage to walk away from Georgi. She can be seen packing her bags to drive back to Connecticut from Virginia when Georgi asks her what’s on her mind. "I’m just walking away because I just want openness, and I want honesty,” says Darcey, who feels Georgi’s demeanor is “very closed off” and that it doesn’t make for a healthy relationship. Massage therapist Georgi accuses Darcey of meeting his friends and ex, which she claims she did “for clarity” and that Octavia didn’t give him “roundabout answers” as he did.
The 90 Day Fiancé icon finds it hard to believe anything that Georgi says. She then proceeds to break down in tears and shows her signature vulnerable Darcey side by saying, “I'm not chasing a man.” The Darcey & Stacey lead cries, “I want my fiancé to come to me. I want to feel love, I want to feel embraced. I want to feel all the feelings that you get to feel from me” but she is met with a straight-faced reaction from Georgi. He asserts that it’s Darcey’s insecurities that drive him away, but it looks like he’s gaslighting her, which Darcey notices. "I keep giving so much, why should I have to feel that way?” Darcey asks the cameras and meanwhile asks Georgi to not come back with her to Connecticut.
Darcey has confessed that she loves Georgi, and as was the case with her previous 90 Day Fiancé breakups, her feelings are genuine. But this time around, Darcey, who’s often been called out for being her own worst enemy is not letting herself be taken for granted. Darcey wants to honor herself as a woman and feels it’s best for her Darcey & Stacey match to stay away until she can get the commitment, openness, and honesty from him. Will Darcey finally find success in a reality TV relationship? Or will Georgi still keeping his past in his past be what brings on the demise of this short love story?
