Screen Rant is excited to present an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip featuring the cast and creators of PBC talking about the comedy legends working on the series. PBC is the first production created and released by FloQast Studios, the production branch of FloQast Inc., written by accountants for accountants. Recently PBC received the Audience Honor Award for branded series at the Shorty Impact Awards. The first season is available on the FloQast YouTube channel now, with season 2 premiering on December 6.

The first season of PBC follows Sarah (Jessica Sarah Flaum) as she begins a new job as the Senior Accountant for SUNRYZER A.I., a fast-track to IPO tech start-up, as it prepares for the annual year-end audit. While Sarah attempts to adjust to her new job and make a good impression on her co-workers, which proves to be a challenge, she is caught in the middle of unexpected workplace drama. The series is based on the actual experiences of the creators but in the mockumentary workplace comedy style of wildly popular television series such as The Office, Parks & Recreation, and Silicon Valley.

PBC season 1 cast

Screen Rant's exclusive behind-the-scenes clip "Meet The Comedy Icons" features Danny Trejo (Machete), Kate Flannery (The Office), Pete Gardner (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live), and Neil Flynn (Scrubs) as they talk about working on PBC. Each of these comedy greats shares how exciting it is to be able to really lean into improvisation with this series. PBC creator Mike Whitmire, showrunner Michael J. Gallagher, and executive producer/director Josh Sims share how these legendary comedy actors elevate the characters and scripts.

PBC season 2 brings a ton of new comedic talent, including Flynn and Oteri, who were featured in Screen Rant's behind-the-scenes clip. Season 2 will see the return of the hilarious accounting department as they deal with a new set of problems: the sales team. Wrangling the wild sales team while balancing professional and personal relationships proves to be even more challenging than preparing for the end-of-year audit.

FloQast Inc. is an accounting software vendor created by accountants. Founded in 2013, this Los Angeles-based company expanded beyond accounting software to establish FloQast Studios, which launched in December 2021. The goal of FloQast Studios is to combine accounting and entertainment by creating engaging, entertaining, and educational content. PBC is created by accountants for accountants, but the series reaches beyond this audience with the same style of comedy and storytelling as acclaimed mockumentary workplace comedies The Officer and Parks & Recreation.
