There's a new dancing duo in the ballroom. Dancing With the Stars pro dancers Witney Carson and Lindsay Arnold introduced their adorable newborn babies to each other for the first time. Lindsay gave birth to her daughter in late October while Witney had her son earlier this month. Both dancers are first-time moms. Lindsay was recently under fire for vacationing with her newborn amid the pandemic.
Lindsay Arnold's first season of Dancing With the Stars was season 16 in 2013. Witney danced in the ballroom for the first time two seasons later during season 18. Although they knew each other before competing against each other in the ballroom, Lindsay and Witney grew their friendship while on DWTS together as well as while on tour for the show. When Lindsay married her now-husband in 2015, she asked Witney to be her maid of honor on her big day. Just one year later, Lindsay returned the favor as she was Witney's matron of honor at her wedding. As they were already at each other's weddings, it was only right for the dancing duo to be pregnant at the same time. Lindsay's daughter Sage is just two months older than Witney's son Kevin Leo, who is just a few weeks old. Following his birth, Witney revealed on Instagram that she was in labor for 24 hours before having a C-section.
Lindsay Arnold's daughter and Witney Carson's son are already best friends. Daily Mail reported that the professional dancing moms brought together their newborn babies to meet on their very first playdate together. Earlier this week Lindsay shared a video on her Instagram story sharing how excited she was to go meet baby Leo for the first time. She and her daughter Sage headed over to Witney's house for the babies' first playdate. The new moms posted photos to each of their Instagram stories admiring how adorable the babies looked side by side. Sage was dressed in a grey ribbed onesie with a matching bow while Kevin, who goes by Leo, cozied up in his mint green onesie and matching hat.
Witney also shared a video of Lindsay meeting baby Leo for the first time. Leo slept on Lindsay's chest as she admired how cute and tiny he is. Proud mom Witney filmed the adorable interaction as she praised her son for not crying saying, "Good job bud." She also shared a photo of Leo cuddling up next to Sage with the caption, "Already cuddling." A fan account on Instagram re-shared the photos after they had been deleted from Witney's stories. The comments section flooded with compliments on how adorable the baby duo is. One joked, "Awe first date!" Another called them "future DWTS champs." Others predicted that the two will be best friends for a very long time, just like their mamas.
There is no doubt that Lindsay Arnold and Witney Carson's babies will grow up to be best friends. The real question is, will they grow up to be dancing best friends like their moms? Who knows, maybe they will be Dancing With the Stars champs one day. Babies aside, both moms look amazing postpartum and seem to be ready to get back in the ballroom.
