Dancing With The Stars season 31 celebrated Disney+ Night, and the stars and their professional dance partners brought their special magic to the ballroom, lighting up the leaderboard with some of the highest scores of the season. DWTS made the unprecedented move from ABC to the streaming service for the new season, so the show paid tribute to its new home by expanding DWTS Disney Night to include music from any show or film that streams on Disney+. With special appearances from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, the Muppets, and legendary actress Jenifer Lewis, who performed her classic song from The Princess and the Frog, DWTS Disney+ Night delighted the audience.

Unfortunately, DWTS must say goodbye to one couple each week, and Disney+ Night was the end of Sam Champion and Cheryl Burke's run on the show. They placed 13th with 25 points out of 40 for their paso doble to "The Greatest Show" from The Greatest Showman. The judges unanimously voted to send them home when they were in the bottom two with DWTS contestant Trevor Donovan and his partner Emma Slater. Trevor and Emma had tied for 11th place with Joseph Baena and Daniella Karagach, who returned after missing two episodes due to testing positive for COVID-19. Trevor and Emma danced the samba to "Life is a Highway" from Cars, while Joseph and Daniella performed a Charleston to "A Star Is Born" from Hercules. Placing 9th, Vinny Guadagnino and Koko Iwasaki danced the samba to "Il Gatto E La Volpe" from Luca and earned 29 points, tying with Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart. Daniel and Britt danced the quickstep to "Finally Free" from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Jessie James Decker and Alan Bersten took 8th place, earning 31 points for their jive to "One Way or Another" from Hocus Pocus 2.
