Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino was eliminated from the Dancing With The Stars competition Monday night after avoiding the bottom two for seven consecutive weeks of the competition. Vinny was one of two stars to be eliminated during Monday's live show. Prior to his elimination, Heidi D'Amelio and her partner Artem Chigvintsev were immediately eliminated due to having the lowest combined scores of the night.

Vinny was partnered with brand new DWTS pro dancer Koko Iwasaki this season. Despite their hard work each week, Vinny and Koko found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard following each night of performances; however, Vinny did not let this bring him down. He continued to show up to rehearsals each day with full determination to do better with his next performance. Unfortunately, Vinny and Koko were ultimately eliminated just one week before making it to the semi-finals of the competition.

Despite his constant determination, Vinny did not progress in the competition as some of his fellow stars did. While the other couples continued to improve their technique and ultimately their scores each week, Vinny remained consistently unimproved, resulting in him remaining at the bottom of the leaderboard. Luckily, Vinny was never in the bottom two prior to his recent elimination. This was thanks to his large fan base that continued to vote for him each week. This was not fair to other stars who were finding themselves in the bottom two despite having higher scores than him.

While it was somewhat not fair that Vinny was never in the bottom two despite his low earning scores, he is the epitome of the true meaning of the show. Vinny joined the Dancing With The Stars cast with absolutely no dance experience. Although it did not always show in the ballroom, Vinny worked hard in rehearsals each week in hopes of making it far in the competition. Vinny had to work twice as hard as some of the other stars, such as Charli D'Amelio, who has a dancing history.

Although he did not make it to the semi-finals, Vinny did manage to make it farther in the Dancing With The Stars competition than any of his former Jersey Shore roommates who also competed on the show. Despite not always having the best technique, Vinny was always fun to watch in the ballroom. While it was sad to see him leave, it was the right time that he was eliminated since the Dancing With The Stars semi-finals are next week.
