Dancing With The Stars season 24 proved to be a very entertaining series of the long-running reality show, but which celebrities signed up to be contestants? Dancing With The Stars is based on the hit BBC series Strictly Come Dancing, which first aired in 2004. The premise of the show has a group of celebrities train with a dance partner each week to come with a dance routine based on a particular theme, with contestants eliminated week by week until only the winner remains.

The format proved to be a big hit with audiences worldwide and Dancing With The Stars launched on ABC in 2005. Like other successful reality shows American Idol or Survivor, Dancing With The Stars has been running for a long time and passed its 27th season in 2018. The show's upbeat energy and fantastic dance routines - mixed in with a few terrible ones - are just a couple of reasons for the show's evergreen popularity.

Former Saturday Night Live cast member Chris Kattan was knocked out of the contest quickly, while Rashad Jennings was crowned the winner alongside dance partner Emma Slater in the series finale. Dancing With The Stars season 24 definitely had an interesting line-up of talent and personalities to keep viewers entertained, including Mr. T (Rocky III), Olympic artistic gymnast Simone Biles, and Glee star Heather Morris.

Dancing With The Stars season 27 had an intriguing list of contestants of it's own, including Harry Potter actress Evanna Lynch, Mary Lou Retton, and The Dukes Of Hazzard star John Schneider. Comedian Nikki Glaser was the first to leave the show while radio personality Bobby Bones was the eventual winner, alongside partner Sharna Burgess. While it was definitely a fun series, Dancing With The Stars season 24 easily has it beat in terms of sheer energy and entertainment value; it's not every show that features Mr. T dancing to The A-Team theme, which is something that should be celebrated.
