Sasha Farber feels awful after the pie from his performance left his wife and fellow pro dancer, Emma Slater, to slip during her performance on Dancing With The Stars. The ballroom duo has been married since March 2018 and are no stranger to competing against each other year after year. Though it's a competition, there's nothing but love and support between these two every season.

Sasha and Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee scored a 36 out of a possible 40 on "Grease Week" this Monday, which advanced the pair to the next round of the competition. The dancing pair performed the Charleston to "Born to Hand Jive," which included some steps from the memorable movie scene. Suni finally showcased a more confident and sassy style playing Cha-Cha DiGregorio as she ended her performance slamming a pie into Sasha's face. Shortly after Sasha and Suni received the judges scores, Emma and Jimmie took the stage for their foxtrot to "Sandy." Though the couple brought an entertaining and playful energy to the stage, they did have a little slip in the same spot where Suni threw the pie.

In an interview with Screen Rant, Sasha revealed his post-show conversation where he apologized to his wife for causing the ballroom floor to become slippery enough to affect her performance. "The pie was my idea and now I'm definitely in the dog house because I feel like they didn't really clean that up and I feel really, really bad for Jimmie and Emma because it was really slippery for them," Sasha said. The pro dancer admitted he wasn't in the ballroom to watch their performance or the major slip because he had to get cleaned up in the hair and make up department, but knew something was wrong when he came back and saw his bride with tears in her eyes. After hearing what happened, Sasha felt awful because they "had a really good dance this week" and promises he won't bring a pie into the ballroom again.

In response, Emma told Screen Rant the slip is in the past. "I think Sasha feels so bad. It wasn't his fault at all, and it wasn't the stage management's fault, it was something that happened and it's so done. It will be forgotten and it's okay," Emma said. "It was something that was out of our hands even though it cuts deep, I'm going to let it go." All in all, Emma is just impressed with how Jimmie is improving on the dance floor. For Jimmie's part, he just hoped the slip didn't ruin all of his partner's hard work. Viewers may not have realized, but the country singer admitted a lot of the end of the performance was improvised in order to recover from the slip. Ultimately the couple received a score of 34 out of 40, which kept them safe for another week.

The love and care Emma has for her husband after her routine was jeopardized by the slippery floor is adorable and admirable. Sasha also seemed genuinely sorry for creating an idea that messed up another contestant. Nonetheless, both couples made it through to Dancing With The Stars' upcoming Halloween-themed week so there's no love lost.
