Olivia Jade Giannulli says her mom Lori Loughlin has been extra supportive of her new Dancing With The Stars journey. Lori is a famous actress best known for her role on the family sitcom show Full House. She and her husband brought drama to their family when they became involved in the college admissions scandal back in 2019. The aftermath of the scandal brought negative impacts to Olivia's career as an influencer.

When ABC announced the cast list for season 30 of Dancing With The Stars, Olivia was amongst the 15 stars taking on the ballroom this season. Olivia is best known for her presence on both social media as well as YouTube. She is just 21 years old, making her one of the youngest contestants this season. Because of Olivia's family's involvement in the college admissions scandal, Olivia has been viewed as a controversial contestant this season.

Despite the family drama within recent years, Olivia's mom is nothing but supportive of her new dancing journey. According to Page Six, Olivia said Lori is in "total mom mode" regarding her Dancing With The Stars casting. Lori has been trying to ensure Olivia stays both healthy and in good shape in order to keep up with her vigorous weekly rehearsals. Olivia explained that Lori has been advising her to "take an Epsom salt bath." Lori is also "trying to get [her] to take an ice bath." Olivia has reassured her mom that she is not yet at the point when she needs to take an ice bath. It has been rumored that Olivia is partnered with pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy after they were spotted headed to the same studio. Perhaps after a few more weeks of constant rehearsing alongside pro dancer Val, Olivia will in fact take her mom's advice.

Although Lori has been getting a little ahead of herself with the ice bath advice, she has also been very supportive of Olivia. Olivia said, "My mom’s been a huge support." Olivia's older sister Bella Giannulli has also been in support of this new journey. Bella has already told Olivia that she wants to be in attendance for every live show that Olivia is a part of. Last year, for season 29, production eliminated the live studio audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is unknown if this new rule will continue on into the milestone season; however, pro dancer Sharna Burgess previously mentioned that there will be stricter COVID-19 protocols this year. Whether Olivia's family is able to attend or not, Olivia is still extremely excited to be a part of the cast this season. She said, "I think it’s such an incredible opportunity. I’m ready to put myself back out there and try new things."

Olivia will be competing alongside stars such as Jojo Siwa, former Bachelor Matt James, The Talk's Amanda Kloots and more. Although there have been many rumors about which stars are paired with which pro dancers, the confirmed duos will not be announced until the live premiere on Monday, September 20.
