The popular reality show Dancing with the Stars will be returning for season 30 in just one week, and it's time to share information about one of the show's stars, Cody Rigsby. Fans have been anxiously awaiting the milestone season, which is set to include a star-studded cast. The very athletic Cody will hit the ballroom floor. He may become a fan favorite.

Back in July, ABC reps announced that DWTS would return for season 30 this month. Last year, the series featured many changes. Some of the season 29 changes had to do with the COVID-19 pandemic. However, longtime host Tom Bergeron and his co-host Erin Andrews were replaced by supermodel Tyra Banks, and this had nothing to do with the global health crisis. Professional dancer Derek Hough returned to the ballroom. This time, however, he was a part of the judges' panel. He took the place of longtime judge Len Goodman, who could not travel to the United States due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There was also no live studio audience. Many of these changes will continue to be facets of the upcoming season.

Peloton’s star fitness instructor Cody will be joining the Dancing with the Stars cast this month, and he'll bring new energy to the show. Just last week, ABC shared a list of the DWTS celebs who will be taking on the ballroom this fall. Among them is the very fit Cody. Peloton is a popular fitness trend, which primarily features at-home stationary bike workouts which are coached virtually by a variety of instructors. According to his Instagram bio, Cody is not only a “Peloton cycling instructor” but also a “mindful athlete.” Needless to say, Cody is in awe-inspiring physical shape, and he often shows off his physique on social media. His Instagram page is just shy of hitting 900k followers.

Since Cody has a large following on Instagram, he has been working with many different brands to endorse their products. Some of these endorsements include Invisalign, the yogurt brand Chobani, and the food company, Primal Kitchen. Cody turned 34 on June 8. Gemini Cody is a member of the LGBTQ+ community. His bio describes him as an “opinionated homosexual.” It is unknown which of the 15 professional DWTS dancers Cody will be paired up with this season. However, whoever he is partnered with will be very lucky. Prior to his fitness journey with Peloton, Cody had some experience dancing. According to ABC News, Cody said, "In my former life before fitness I was a professional dancer."

Since the cast was announced last week, Cody (along with the other 14 stars competing this season) has been heading to the studio to start rehearsing for premiere night. The professional dancer and celebrity partner pairings will not be announced until the first episode of the season. Until then, fans will continue guessing about who will be dancing together during the milestone season.
