With the finale just a few short weeks away, fans are starting to think this season of Dancing With the Stars is actually rigged. The milestone season 30 kicked off in mid-September with a star-studded cast. However, fans were not too impressed. Initially, they feared some contestants would have an unfair advantage in the dancing competition.

While many fans thought contestants such as Dance Moms' star JoJo Siwa had a leg up because of her past dance experience, pros such as Cheryl Burke claimed she actually had a disadvantage because she had to un-train their brain and learn an entirely new style of dance. Cheryl's partner, Peloton instructor turned influencer Cody Rigsby, has previous dance experience as well. This is not the first time contestants on the show have had dance experience. In fact, these stars typically make it far in the competition, which is why many fans believe it is not fair for the other contestants.

In addition to being upset about certain stars having an advantage in the competition, fans are now wondering if this season of Dancing With the Stars is actually rigged. To be more specific, many believe it is being rigged in Jojo's favor. Twitter users have been taking to the social media platform to rant about the issue (via @JanetLaCava). JoJo made history this season by being the first star to be paired with a professional partner of the same sex. She and her dancing partner, Jenna Johnson, received the first perfect score of the season during Grease Night. Then, on Horror Night, they once again received a perfect score. However, many viewers do not feel they deserved it.

One Twitter user claimed their scores are "proof" the show is rigged, exclaiming, "When Jojo gets all 10s AGAIN! When her performance was once again SLOPPY and not that great!!" The user continued on to note there were other couples who were deserving of higher scores than they actually received. In addition to this, many fans were also not happy about the recent eliminations. Following the conclusion of the performances on Horror Night, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and Brandon Armstrong were eliminated from the competition. Fans felt they did not deserve to be eliminated, as they were progressing week after week. However, their elimination also adds to the theory that this season is being rigged. One user claimed, "JoJo Siwa was pinned to win before the show even started, (via @Fit2bejustme)."

While Dancing With the Stars fans have made it clear that they don't think JoJo deserves her scores, they haven't given a reason as to why the competition would be rigged in her favor. Perhaps it is due to the fact that she is part of the first same-sex dancing couple. It could also be in an effort to attract a younger audience for the show since JoJo is very popular amongst the younger generation. However, claims that the season has been rigged have not been confirmed nor commented on by ABC or any of the cast members.
