Dancing With The Stars season 29 just premiered and the star-studded cast is making headlines, but so is judge Bruno Tonioli, who debuted a new "silver fox" hair look. This fresh hairstyle has captured the attention of the show's many fans. Bruno is a longtime staple of the popular dance show, who was seen sporting grey hair in a promotional teaser posted on DWTS's Instagram ahead of the opening episode. He stuck with the grey for the premiere. Fans have become accustomed to his jet black hair, so the new look is a big switch from the usual.

Dancing with the Stars season 29 has attracted major celebrities, who are an important part of the 15-person cast. The show is looking to take advantage of Netflix's quarantine streaming domination, with Chrishell Stause of Selling Sunset and Monica Aldama from Cheer joining the Tiger Queen herself, Carole Baskin. Also on the roster is former 49ers tight end, Vernon Davis, The Real's Jeannie Mai, Grammy-winning rapper Nelly, Disney Channel star Skai Jackson, One Day at a Time actress Justina Machado, Desperate Housewives alum Jesse Metcalfe, Catfish host Nev Schulman, Volcano actress Anne Heche, NBA All-Star Charles Oakley, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean, and former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. Judging them all is Bruno Tonioli, along with Derek Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba.

Fans have become accustomed to Bruno's jet black hair but the new look created almost exclusively good buzz. One user on Twitter said the look “suits him” and that it makes him look younger. Another commented that “dyed black hair is never a good look, much better.” The show shocked fans earlier this month, with an announcement that DWTS  co-hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews were being replaced by supermodel Tyra Banks. As well, Bruno will be alongside some new faces, as former dancer Derek Hough replaces Len Goodman. Below is a picture of Bruno's new look, from the Dancing With The Stars Instagram account.

Another major change to Dancing with the Stars is the lack of a live audience. In light of the global pandemic, DWTS has joined a growing list of live-produced shows that have had to adjust to government-issued protocols.

The show's 15 famous faces are paired with dancing pros, first as coaches during the week of practice, and then as partners for the live performances. Along with 13 returning veterans, newcomers Britt Stewart and Daniella Karagach will make their pro debut after previously dancing in the show's troupe. Stewart will become the first Black female pro dancer in the show's long history, telling Good Morning America "I am extremely honored and I honestly get a little emotional talking about it every time."
