Professional dancer Sasha Farber competed on eight seasons of Dancing With The Stars, where he partnered up with celebrities like Snooki, Tonya Harding, Ally Brooke, and Justina Machado. Sasha was born in Russia but was raised in Australia. As a young dancer, he won a few championships and ended up being featured in the closing ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games that were held in Sydney. Sasha then got cast on the Australian edition of Dancing With The Stars, where he competed alongside singer Nikki Webster. Together, Sasha and Nikki went on to get fifth place during that season.

Overall, Sasha Farber has had a 20-year career that eventually landed him a spot as a pro dancer on the American DWTS series on ABC. He has competed eight times on the show and got to the finale a total of four times, which is a pretty impressive track record. Unfortunately, Sasha has never managed to win the show, but he has gotten close quite a few times. On DWTS 2020, Sasha is arriving at the grand finale with the lowest number of total score points and the lowest average score of the season. With that said, he and his partner Justina Machado have wowed the judges and the audiences time and time again, so anything can happen in the finale.

Now that Sasha Farber is officially on the Dancing With The Stars 2020 finale, it is helpful for the fans to take a look back at some of his former partners on the show and remember how far they got during their respective seasons. Sasha's first time on DWTS was on season 17, which aired in 2013. He was partnered up with Jersey Shore star Snooki, but the duo only made it to eighth place on the season. After a gap of a few years, Sasha came back to the competition on DWTS season 22, where he competed with actress Kim Fields and placed seventh overall. He then paired up with Little Women star Terra Jolé on season 23, and with Olympic gymnast Simone Biles on season 24. On Dancing With The Stars season 26, Sasha danced with legendary figure skater Tonya Harding and got third place, which is the furthest he's ever gotten. On season 27, Sasha and celebrity gymnast Mary Lou Retton were not able to get past ninth place. But he went right back to third place on season 28, in which he competed alongside Ally Brooke.

At this point on DWTS season 29, Sasha Farber and his partner Justina Machado are secured in the grand finale. However, they do have the worst track record among the finalists, so they're the absolute underdogs of the series right now. It's definitely a long shot for Sasha and Justina to beat Nev Schulman and Jenna Johnson, or even Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev, at the finale. On the other hand, it wouldn't be a surprise for them to pull off a few surprises during their last outing on the season.

The fans are looking forward to the Dancing With The Stars 2020 finale next week. All in all, this has been a very fun season that featured a lot of surprisingly talented dancers.
