Kaitlyn Bristowe won Dancing With The Stars 2020, so it's time to compare her track record on the show to the winners' scores of seasons past. It's official: the crowned winner of DWTS season 29 is The Bachelorette season 11 lead Kaitlyn Bristowe. One has to admit that this wasn't an entirely smooth ride for Kaitlyn to win the mirrorball trophy. Over the weeks, some viewers started to point out that judge Carrie Ann Inaba was seeming to be particularly harsh when judging Kaitlyn. That tension only escalated in week 7, "Villans Night," when Carrie Ann said that Kaitlyn seemed like she had given up.

Unfortunately, these interactions between Kaitlyn and Carrie Ann on DWTS led to some fans sending very negative messages, comments, and tweets toward the judge. In turn, however, it did give Kaitlyn an underdog status in the competition. Kaitlyn then gained even more appreciation from the fans as she kept on trying really hard on the show and actually improved as a dancer week after week. As the four finalists were announced, it seemed clear that the two main contestants to win the mirrorball trophy this year were Kaitlyn Bristowe and Nev Schulman. Now, Kailtyn has been officially crowned the winner of Dancing With The Stars season 29.

Throughout this DWTS 2020 season, Kaitlyn Bristowe had an average score of 26.4. This puts Kaitlyn almost a full point ahead of last year's winner, The Bachelorette season 15 lead Hannah Brown, who averaged a score of 25.6 on the show. Kaitlyn's average score also puts her ahead of Dancing With The Stars season 27 winner Bobby Bones (22.8 average). However, Kaitlyn did not enter DWTS history books with her track record on the show. All of the Top 10 highest-scoring female winners of the series averaged scores that were well above 27. Moreover, the show's Top 3 highest-scoring female winners - Meryl Davis, Kristi Yamaguchi, and Melissa Rycroft - managed to average scores that were above 28 during their respective seasons.

Nonetheless, Kaitlyn Bristowe did quite well for herself on Dancing With The Stars, particularly when considering some of her less-than-stellar scores on the show during a few of her rougher weeks. All in all, one would think that Carrie Ann's so-called "personal" criticisms of Kaitlyn would've brought her average score down significantly. However, that doesn't appear to be the case here, since Kaitlyn still had a better track record than some of the most recent winners on the show.

This season of Dancing With The Stars is now over, but the fans can now keep rooting for Kaitlyn on social media. In a way, this show has been a career renaissance for Kaitlyn beyond her usual Bachelor Nation fans. It's definitely paying off!
