Jamie Foxx channels his sketch comedy past in Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! by playing four separate characters. The Oscar winner co-created the Netflix comedy show and based the premise on his real-life family experiences. Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! follows an Atlanta businessman who reunites with his daughter and tries to prove that he's a mature, responsible adult.

Foxx is best known for his Academy Award-winning performance as Ray Charles in Ray, and for starring as the title character in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. He's one of the most accomplished mainstream actors of the 21st century, and will soon portray the boxer Mike Tyson in an upcoming miniseries. However, many pop culture consumers may not remember that Foxx began his career on In Living Color during the '90s before headlining his own sitcom, The Jamie Foxx Show.

In Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!, Foxx reunites with his former In Living Color castmate David Alan Grier. Their comedic chemistry anchors numerous scenes throughout the series, with both showing off their improvisational talent and celebrity impression skills. Wacky as Foxx's protagonist may be, his other three characters are even more animated. Here's every Jamie Foxx character in Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! season 1 on Netflix.

Brian Dixon

Jamie Foxx as Brian Dixon in Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! on Netflix

Brian Dixon is the main protagonist in Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! He's a single father who inherits his mother's business, BAY Cosmetics, and then looks after his daughter Sasha when she moves from Chicago to Atlanta. As Brian, Foxx delivers numerous celebrity impressions, including Al Pacino, Jay-Z, Barack Obama, J Balvin, The Rock, Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Murphy, Floyd Mayweather, and Will Smith.

Reverend Sweet Tea

Jamie Foxx as Reverent Sweet Tea Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! on Netflix

Reverend Sweet Tea makes his series debut in episode 2, "#Godastamaste." He's introduced during the opening credits sequence and surprises both Brian and Sasha by citing a line from the 2003 song "Get Low" by Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz. Reverend Sweet Tea acknowledges that he visited an Atlanta strip club and claims that he was there for the WAP - "wap-ba-ba-loobop" wings. In the same episode, he shows up at Sasha's yoga class, apparently to work out some lower back issues after falling off stage at the Essence Festival.

Cadillac Calvin

Jamie Foxx as Cadillac Calvin in Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! on Netflix

Cadillac Calvin shows up in episode 6. Grier's character, Pops, breaks the fourth wall and states that his estranged brother shows up once per year around Juneteenth. Calvin participates in a family cookout and has a unique way of phrasing certain words. He's the prototypical Weird Uncle character, with Foxx using a high pitch at times for comedic purposes. Cadillac Calvin operates a Smoke-E-Nator 5000 grill and references The Passion of the Christ when commenting about a bloody steak after losing.

Rusty

Jamie Foxx as Rusty Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! on Netflix

Rusty appears in the Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! season 1 finale, "#MaybeItsBAYBelline." He's arguably the most unique of Foxx's collective characters, evidenced by a blonde wig, a nose ring and a willingness to wear sunglasses while serving as the bartender at his own establishment. Rusty often vocalizes Western-style movie music - which sounds like "yee-digga-dee, yee-digga-dee" - and speaks to a Donald Trump bubblehead at work. He ultimately bails to chase after Pops' rejected blind date but then returns after a quick rendezvous (or so he claims). For this performance, Foxx mostly his uses his regular speaking voice, but with a heavy twang.
