James Marsden kept at least one prop from his tenure as Cyclops of the X-Men: the mutant hero's signature red sunglasses. In the original X-Men film trilogy, James Marsden played Cyclops, one of the most popular and powerful of the X-Men - a team of mutant superheroes who protect humankind, even while being persecuted for being different. While sometimes overshadowed by Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Marsden still earned significant praise for his role as Scott Summers, the man who shoots lasers from his eyes. Marsden played the role in the original 2000 X-Men film, as well as several of its sequels.

This year, Marsden starred alongside the voice of Ben Schwartz in Sonic the Hedgehog, based on the popular video game franchise, and it seems the two have kept in touch during the current Coronavirus crisis. On Twitter, Schwartz shared a screenshot of a video chat he had with his Sonic costar and it revealed that James Marsden still owns Cyclops' X-Glasses - and they look great on him!

At 46 years old, James Marsden doesn't look a day older than he did when he first suited up as Cyclops back in 2000. In fact, seeing Marsden wearing the old shades sparks hope for a Logan-esque movie to serve as the grand finale for his incarnation of the iconic X-Men member. It's unlikely Marsden will ever return to the role that made him an A-list star, but comic book movies dabble in alternate universes and retroactive continuity all the time, so we'd like to think there's always a chance.
