The Amazing Spider-Man swung into the hearts of fans upon his debut in Amazing Fantasy #15, and since then there have been countless iterations of the widely popular character including Cyborg Spider-Man who jumps into action in an amazing new piece of fan art. Upon the introduction of the multiverse within the Marvel universe, more specifically the Spider-Verse, there have been a number of Spider-Man variants that push the creative limits of what comic writers and artists can imagine for the Wallcrawler, including two variations of Cyborg Spider-Man himself within Marvel Comics continuity. In this new piece of fan art, one artist takes Cyborg Spider-Man into their own hands with a depiction of the character that is as epic as ever.

The alternate-universe version of Cyborg Spider-Man made his comic debut in Superior Spider-Man #33 by Christos N. Gage, Dan Slott, and Giuseppe Camuncoli. In the issue, Spider-Cyborg is warned of the impending doom of all the spider heroes across the multiverse at the hands of the villainous Karn by Earth-616’s Superior Spider-Man. Eventually, Karn battles Spider-Cyborg of Earth-2818, a battle the Spider-Man variant survives. Spider-Cyborg meets his end, however, in Amazing Spider-Man #10 when the Inheritors catch up to the spider heroes on the run and he is killed by Daemos.

In a Tweet by Briane Andan, the artist proves that Cyborg Spider-Man is very much alive in the minds of fans with an epic piece of fan art. The simplistic yet detailed style of the artist depicts the Spider-Man variant in a full-on action pose, seemingly jumping into a battle with his high-tech robot arm ready to launch an attack against whatever threat he is facing. It's possible that the artist may color it in the future, but if not, it is still an amazing piece of artwork as is.

While the version of Cyborg Spider-Man as detailed above is the most recent incarnation of the character, there was another who was introduced well before the threat to the Spider-Verse storyline in the comic Spider-Man #21 by Erik Larson. The original Cyborg Spider-Man wasn't a version of Peter Parker from another universe but the main Spider-Man himself. Spider-Man was augmented with cybernetic parts after he nearly died from an attack by the Sinister Six. While short lived, this version of Spider-Man was an epic deviation from the usual depiction, and clearly left its mark on the fandom many years later, from the future reworking of the character in Superior Spider-Man #33 to this amazing piece of fan art itself.

Briane Andan is no stranger to comic art and this piece depicting the Spider-Man variant isn’t the first time the artist tackled the genre. On the artist’s Twitter page, there are a number of fan art pieces based on Marvel Comics characters, including Cosmic Ghost Rider and Daredevil. Cyborg Spider-Man is the latest in a plethora of astounding artwork fitting for any Marvel book currently in publication. From Daredevil to Cosmic Ghost Rider, Briane Andan proves their skillset with handling Marvel characters. That sentiment is proven even more true with this latest piece of Cyborg Spider-Man that depicts the character jumping into action in an amazing piece of fan art.
