Players can find several references to The Witcher 3 in Cyberpunk 2077, but the best Easter egg may belong to Johnny Silverhand. One of the first The Witcher 3 references that fans can discover in the game is the Ciri Easter egg in the Corpo Lifepath. In V’s desk drawer, there is a magazine named Retro Gaming that features Ciri wielding a sword on its cover and names The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as the game of the month. Other The Witcher 3 Easter eggs in the game include the Smuggler’s Cache in the northwest of Pacifica, arcade booths called Roach Race, and the Wolf School jacket.

Although most Easter eggs in the two CD Projekt Red titles are mostly fun details that have no story implication, there are several references that could imply a connection between the two worlds. For example, some players have stumbled upon an Easter egg related to Cyberpunk 2077's biggest mystery in The Witcher 3's Next-Gen Update. The reference is located in Velen’s Destroyed Bastion and depicts a symbol that combines the multi-armed statues’ circuit pattern and the Vampires’ iconography. Unfortunately, this Witcher 3 reference in Cyberpunk 2077 does not offer any extra lore, but it is still a nice nod to the beloved RPG that most fans could easily miss during their first playthrough. But one reference that many players miss is delivered by Johnny Silverhand.

Cyberpunk 2077's Kabuki Market Has A Secret Room

Cyberpunk 2077's Dev Room that contains a massive TV that shows photos of Cyberpunk 2077's developers. There is also an option to stand from the couch.

Players can find The Witcher 3 Easter egg in a hidden room on the northern side of Kabuki Market. V must first enter a secret code, 605185, on the keypad to open the garage door beside a neon sign and a dumpster. Players cannot loot any items in the area, but they can find the secret developer room equipped with a sofa and a giant television screen. If V sits on the couch, the TV will activate and shows pictures of Cyberpunk 2077’s developers.

Johnny Plays The Witcher 3 Soundtrack In Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077's Johnny is sitting on a sofa while playing guitar.

The Witcher 3 reference in Cyberpunk 2077 comes from Johnny, who will sit beside V on the sofa. The man also materializes a guitar that he uses to play several songs, one of them being a soundtrack from The Witcher 3’s Blood and Wine expansion, The Beast of Beauclair. Players can continue listening to Johnny as they watch the slideshow on TV, which could last around 15 to 20 minutes.

Although the room only serves as a lovely Cyberpunk 2077 developer Easter egg, it is still a fun finding that allows fans to see the faces behind the game. A similar discovery can be found in The Witcher 3, but players must use the free camera mod to reach the highest mountain peak in Toussaint. There is a chance that the developer Easter egg may become a tradition, and another one might appear in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 sequel that CDPR has announced, but for now, fans can visit the hidden room in Kabuki Market to listen to Johnny playing The Witcher 3 soundtrack.
