CD Projekt Red has told fans that they should not worry about the amount of content in Cyberpunk 2077 after confirming that some things previously shown in trailers have been cut from the final release. News about the action RPG has become more frequent in recent weeks as the launch of the game approaches. Not all of the headlines have been positive either, with the developer found to be forcing employees to crunch in the game's final development stretch after previously committing to stop mandatory overtime.

Most recently, CD Projekt Red has given fans an in-depth look at the fleet of vehicles that will be available to players. This will include a range of motorcycles from Keanu Reeves' own company Arch Motorcycle. The developer has used the real-life bikes as inspiration but modernized their appearance to match the style of Cyberpunk 2077. That's in addition to the movie star having a high-profile role in the game's story.

A Cyberpunk 2077 developer has told players that there is no need to worry about the amount of content in the upcoming game after fans expressed fears over cut features. According to Pure PlayStation, a designer named Miles Tost has confirmed in the studio's Discord server - under the name MilezZx - that some content that was previously shown in 2018 is no longer in the final product. This came as fans were discussing what has been cut from Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of its launch in November. MilezZx explained that: "Of course we iterate and change stuff and of course we also will have ideas that sound great on paper but then doesn’t end up working out well in the game with all the other features." But the developer did go on to say that fans shouldn't "worry about the amount of content on our game."

Last week, it emerged that popular streamer Dr Disrepsect might have some sort of collaboration with Cybperunk 2077. The controversial figure has had plenty of attention in 2020 after being mysteriously banned from Twitch in June. In a tweet from the title's official Twitter account, Dr Disrepect teased his involvement with the game and showed off a new 30-second trailer. However, it is still not clear exactly what role the streamer will have with CD Projekt Red.

It's natural for a game to change significantly during development. Almost every major release will have large amounts of content cut as production begins to move ahead. It's just a natural part of the process of creating a game and is rarely something that fans should be concerned about. After all, CD Projekt Red's previous The Witcher 3 had hundreds of hours of missions, side quests, and exploration, and there is no reason to doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 will be any different.
